The Secret Garden Wedding of Gemma & Ashley at Springfield House

We had such a great time with the lovely Gemma and her sister planning this beautiful 'Secret Garden' inspired wedding day, Gemma's Mood board was a stunner with loads of atmospheric images to help us visualise her dream day, there was so much information it covered both sides of the A1 board.

 We created a set of sample designs for her to enjoy and select from

 A simply gathered sample bridal bouquet

 Sample Boutonnieres with a magical twist

At last the big day arrived and Ruby presented the bouquets to our Bride and her Bridesmaid

This cascading bouquet included fresh Larkspur, Blackberries, Sweet Peas, Peonies and Love in the Mist alongside a whole host of summery blooms and herbs

The Bridesmaid's Bouquet was in a more posy shaped style but naturally gathered and relaxed

The Father of the Bride's Boutonniere of Sweet Peas, Scabious, Love in the Mist and a toad stool

The Mother of the Bride's Corsage was designed to compliment her outfit perfectly

The Ceremony and Reception were to be held at the very lovely Springfield House where the gardens were in full bloom, the perfect setting for this magical 'Secret Garden' inspired wedding day

Ruby lined up the boutonnieres ensuring each one was quite unique and detailed

The Bride Groom's Boutonniere included a Darcey Rose from David Austin English Garden Roses

Ruby set up our Garden Table and chairs and created a natural tableau

Posies of garden flowers in jam jars dressed the table

Tea Cups and saucers filled with fresh flowers

Inside the "Orangery' the scene was set for the ceremony with candlelit Hurricane Lamps surrounded by Moss and Rose Petals decorated the aisle

Two of our Enchanted Trees framed the Registrars Table

Both Registrars tables were dressed beautifully

The lovely garden gathered Bridal Bouquet in rich vibrant English Garden colours

The Bride Groom's Boutonniere looked splendid

Mum's corsage matched her outfit perfectly

Ruby pinned on all of the Boutonnieres 

The Bridesmaid had fresh flowers in her hair

The tables were all dressed with unique collections of fresh flowers and herbs arranged in vintage vessels all with a garden vibe

The Top Table was a 'Sweetheart Table for Two' and was framed by our Enchanted Trees

Our work here was done it was time to leave the party in full swing many thanks to the Bride & Groom for choosing Flower Design to create their wedding flowers for them
