The Twilight Inspired Wedding Day of the Lovely Chelcee & Dave at St Annes United Reformed Church & Ribby Hall

I honestly don't know where to begin with this epic wedding tale, we had an absolute ball, Chelcee introduced me to The Twilight movies in
particular the one with the wedding in it  (Breaking Dawn) and if that wasn't enough for my otherwise uneducated brain she also acquainted me with the world of Christian Grey all 60 shades, I have at Chelcee's insistance seen one and read the other, much to Jason's horror!!!
~
With my education enhanced I could then commence with the designing of the flowers, Angie, Chelcee's super glamorous Mother In Law was in charge of all things floral.
We decided on a collection of Chelcee's favourite blooms; Gerberas, Calla Lilies and Orchids, the colour scheme was a sort of crushed raspberry meets coral combination with ivories and forest greens, once this was decided upon we gave the whole thing a Twilight twist with the addition of some foresty woodland materials, this sounds so simple as I'm writing it, but of course nothing in life is that simple, the thing I learned about the fabulous Angie was that she's a woman on a mission!!!! take the cake for example; Nine tiers of delicious cake but that wasn't enough for Angie oh no, a fork lift truck was hired for the process of lifting the tree trunk the cake was to be displayed on into position!!!!
~
We meet this splendiferous wedding at the point where our Shirl was presenting the Bridal Bouquets to Chelcee and her assembled Bridesmaids
The Bridal Bouquets included Ivory Germinis, Calla Lilies, Lily f the Valley, Gloriosa Rothschild, Orchids and Kiwi Vine

We created our own style of "Forest Wedding" with the fabulously wide aisle lined with fragrant Eucalyptus trees

A candlelit design greeted the guests as they arrived at St Annes United Reformed Church

The Boys all arrived early, our team pinned on their individually created boutonnieres
The incomparable and incredible Angie, who was wearing a wrist corsage to tone with the Bridal Party and her pink silk ensemble
Chelcee's Handsome Bride Groom Dave was wearing a rather special Boutonniere of a Calla Lily with Lily of the Valley (This lovely image was taken by Georgina from Ger Photography many thanks to her for sending it and a few others across to us)
The beautiful Bridesmaids were next on the scene looking totally gorgeous

Another lovely image from Ger Photography of the very beautiful Bride Chelcee in the limousine on her way to Church

How fabulous our fantastical Bride with her lovely Mum and all of her attendants just before they headed into Church

Inside Church the Eucalyptus Trees looked and smelled gorgeous

Massive Congratulations to Chelcee & Dave from all of the team here at Flower Design Events
The following four images are from the very lovely Georgina from Ger Photography, many thanks to her for sending them over to support our own haphazard efforts at recording the flowers on the day

The Celebrations moved to the wonderful surroundings of Ribby Hall's Garden Room where the tables had been dressed in a seriously foresty style, magnificent branches, trees, shrubs, mosses and seed heads were used to create a woodland effect, elegant plumes of Phalaenopsis Orchids were used amongst the blousy Hydrangea heads
(These first few images were taken at around 1am when I had just finished them, before the Ribby Team had chance to lay the tables and whilst it was dark outside!!!)
I love these enchanted tree designs, complete with jewels, glass orbs with candles and a profusion of Gloriosa Rothschild and Phalaenopsis Orchids)
These tall tree like structures are so glorious they create the ultimate wow factor!!!

The top table design had an appearance as if it had grown there with mosses and roots and pockets of fresh flowers peeping out through the undergrowth

The Cake was utterly magnificent, sat on its own tree trunk, surrounded by fresh smilax, foliages, fresh Orchids and tiny Rosebuds

Huge thanks to the utterly fabulous Angie a wonderful lady to work with, I am already missing our meetings dreadfully!!!!
The lovely Chelcee & Dave, many thanks to them for choosing Flower Design Events for their wedding flowers
The Fairy lights were lit and the candles ignited the day light was making way for moonlight and a magical atmosphere was created!!!

Our work here was done, I went home and slept for a solid 24 hours!!!!.....
