The Perfectly Pink Wedding Day of Sarah & Sam at St Leonards Church Walton Le Dale & Magnificent Samlesbury Hall

This posting is really taking me back to the summer season when delicious Peonies, Lily of the Valley,  Sweet Peas and the heady delights of English Garden Roses were all there in profusion, blousy and voluptuous a thing of necessity not just desire, and we, the Flower Design Events team were right there amongst it, living it, breathing it and indulging in it, in November my friends we are simply dreaming of it a distant memory brought back to life by the magic of photography!
Do I have a treat for you dear reader, not just the haphazard FD Events photos for you today, oh no, some simply splendiferous super duper professional Lisa Aldersley images (Need I say more?) will be amongst this happy tale of love romance and beautiful blooms!

So as not to upset the lovely Ruby our stalwart and incomparable Flower Design Florist and much loved taker of our photographs I shall begin with her snaps
The little Flower Girls gorgeous posy, tiny and delectable, baby Peonies, Rose Buds, Lily of the Valley & Sweet Peas, all in all a magical concoction

Ruby & Josie did the all important Flower Design Events Wedding Bouquet carrying lesson, our beautiful Bride Sarah and her lovely Bridesmaids Kate & Louise were of course naturals
It warms the cockles of my cold November heart to see how happy Summer flowers can make girl!!!!

Now onto some delectable Lisa Aldersley images, these shots really tell a story, I do so love the way Lisa works, she has such a light touch, everything always looks so elegant and she's great to work with too!

Back to our Ruby's pics; So Ruby & Josie headed off to St Leonard's Church in Walton Le Dale to dress the Door Way with some Bay Trees and place the Posies on the Pews

Ruby was also meeting up with Sarah's lovely Bride Groom Sam and his "Bromantic" Ushers to pin on all of the Boutonnieres
Sam's rather special Groom's Boutonniere matched his Bride's Bouquet perfectly we included an Avalanche Rose with Sweet Peas, Lily of the Valley and  Eucalyptus, did you know that a Bride Groom always wears his Boutonniere on the left as that's the side on which his Bride will stand closest to his heart!
A little bromance never hurt anyone!
The beautiful Lisa Aldersley capturing all of the magic and possibly some of the bromance who knows!!! the next few shots are of course her's, you probably don't need me to remind you it is totally obvious...
There must have been something in the water!

The Beautiful Bridal Bouquets of Peonies, Roses, Sweet Peas and Lily of the Valley the perfect match for their pink Bridesmaids Gowns

Heavenly Bridal Bouquet in soft vintage pink and ivory shades, Peonies, Roses, Sweet Peas and Lily of the Valley
Again back to our Ruby's snaps, the adorable little Flower Girl Poppy, carrying her posy perfectly, I think she was only about two but she handled her posy like a dream

The Stunningly beautiful Bride Sarah with her lovely Dad Michael who was wearing a Sweet Avalanche Rose in his Buttonhole

More from the lovely Lisa Aldersley

I do feel I can't or perhaps I shouldn't as it just isn't necessary to "Speak" in between Lisa's images they tell such a beautiful story, but we're back to our own again now so I'll be as vociferous as usual....
 ~
The Wedding Reception was held in the historic and magical surroundings of Samlesbury Hall one of our favourite "Haunts" if you'll pardon the pun, the tables were dressed with a combination of high and low table designs, I know that Lisa prefers low designs in front of the top table so that she has a clear view for the speeches...
The "Tall" designs were our fabulous  FD Events two tier "Tudor Rose" Candelabras, their design perfectly suits this Tudor building and as the flowers are arranged in two placements it allows a relatively clear view across the table, the six large candles on top really help to make for an atmospheric dinner
The "Low" design was this lovely Hurricane Lamp surrounded by a Ring of fresh Flowers and foliages
Using a combination of tall and low table centres gives a bit of visual rhythm to the room

I love this simply elegant cake dressed with a fresh flower Cake Topper

This Top Table creation is a cracker we call it "Fleur de Lys" it comes in three parts, this distributes the colour along the length of the table without appearing clumsy or heavy

Our work here was done, Ruby & Josie slipped away just as our gorgeous Bride & Groom were arriving back from Church, huge thanks & massive Congratulation to Sarah & Sam from all of the team, here at Flower Design Events
