Antipodean and English Fusion Wedding of Jennifer & Matthew Lord at Fulwood Methodist Church and The Villa Wrea Green
To say we were all looking forward to this wonderful wedding day would be a massive understatement, Matt, Jenny & I have had the very best of appointments, these two are just so creative, imaginative and seriously fun, Matt's Mood Board is spectacular, vibrant colour, movement, excitement and a very clear direction, swirls and curls were the order of the day a fusion of Matt's Antipodean Heritage and Jenny's English Rose background!
The super lovely Jenny, our first delivery of the day her gloriously colourful Bridal Bouquets a celebration of tropical colour and English vibrance
Jenny's wedding bouquet had it all from Pineapples to Grape Hyacinth, a seriously diverse combination
The Bride's Mum's Corsage in ivory & blue
The Father of the Bride's Rose Boutonniere
I loved this little basket of fresh Rose Petals for the adorable "Flower Girl" Lucy, the basket handle was dressed with Rolled Rose petals, Muscari, Hypericum and Germini Petals, not to mention the all important Teal coloured Butterfly a motif carried throughout the wedding day
The Church was just around the corner and old favourite of ours, the services here are just wonderful a true celebration with lots of wonderful music and a dynamic Minister, the entrance was framed by two Bay Trees dressed with vibrant Gerberas
Inside the aisle was lined with Hurricane lanterns and fragrant English Rose Petals leading up to two glorious pedestals of tropical blooms
We included Gingers, Heliconias, Birds of Paradise, Grevillea Spiderman, Phalaenopsis Orchids, Kiwi Vine and trails of Tillisandria Moss and trailing Amaranthus
Matt had designed all of the fabulous wedding stationery too
A very special Groom's Boutonniere, thankfully Matt is rather tall so a throw away suggestion of a pineapple buttonhole became a reality and looked magnificent!
There aren't many Gents I meet that could pull this look off but Matt you look amazing
Matt's Mum's wrist corsage of Australian Eucalyptus, New Zealand Tree Ferns , Rolled English Rose Petals, Champagne Grass and Germini Petals and Centre
Lorraine looked gorgeous
We used a fabulous Rose for the Boutonniere's "Harlequin" I felt it really captured the joyous spirit of the day!
The stems of the Boutonniere's were bound in teal bullion to tone with their ties
Helene Jenny's beautiful Mum wearing her blue and ivory corsage
Next to arrive were the very excitable Bridesmaids
The Flower Girl's Rose Petal Basket
The Bridesmaid's vibrant bridal bouquets of Gloriosa Rothschild, Sweet Peas, Roses, Peonies and Pineapples
The fabulous Photographers for the day were our old friends Steve & Stephanie Ashton, I can't wait to see the product of their labours, their images are always sensational!
The arrival of a very proud Dad and a stunningly beautiful Bride!
The bouquet ended up on the roof as our Bride alighted the car
Jenny's Bridal Bouquet was simply glorious a dramatic collection of Gloriosa Rothschild, Birds of Paradise, Pineapples, Sweet Peas, Peonies, Ranunculas, Muscari, Nerines, Tree Ferns, Champagne Grass, and Asplenium
Rose Petals very carefully distributed up the aisle ahead of Jenny & her Dad
