Wild Ship Wrecked wedding of Beckie & Richard Lowe at St. Mary's Church, Llangwyfan & Surf Point Castle, Rhosneigr, Angelsey

I wanted to create a truly natural, at one with nature feel to this Island wedding, nothing was to be too contrived or artificially constructed, rather the designs were to be exceptionally relaxed, sand dune gathered, grasses and wild flowers.
After delivering the girls bridal bouquets to the castle we headed down to "Mojo's" to find the Groom Richard and his Groom's Men we sorted out the ties and pinned on the buttonholes.

St. Mary's is a beautiful Church, with just enough seating for 120 guests, however there was 162 guests expected, so we didn't over do the flowers, a wind swept wild pedestal design, Pew End decorations and vases on the winddowsills and two Bay Trees dressed with fresh Agapanthus.

I swathed a garland of Passion Flower around the stand on top we used Echinops, Hollyhocks, grasses and Clematis.

The Pew end designs were dominated by fresh herbs and trailing amaranthus.

The scenery and hedgerows

The Buttonholes were created from Grasses and Scabiosa Stelata

Beckie's Dad drove her to church in this gorgeous MG

The Bridal Bouquets we created from a selection of textured grasses that shimmered in the sea beeze, fragrant herbs like Lavender, Mint & Dill, wild flowers including Love in the Mist, Corn Flowers and Poppy seed heads.

Tissue cones of Rose Petals
Betty, Me & Roy from St Mary's and my darling youngest child Olivia

Molly the lovely flower girl with a basket of fresh rose petals

Fresh Rose Petal Confetti with some dried ones thrown in

The great Videographer Mark, and the lovely Pete Lucas Photographer he's one of those "proper photographers" I keep banging on about.

Huge Drift Wood Trees with fresh flowers caught in the branches graced some tables and then on others a random selection of recycled glass bottles and candle holders with wild grasses, herbs and flowers.

This magnificent marquee is by Snowdonia Marquees, we've worked with them once before and on both occasions we've been knocked out by how fresh, clean and elegant their marquees are.

The catering which was totally mouth watering was provided by Outside Catering, a very well organised company, on the couple of occasions we've worked with them we've come away really excited by the food and Lobster Thermidore and Chips for a 162 what a brilliant idea!

The Brides Dad John made the ski stand to display the seating plan, and the brides sister Hannah made the lovely ski figures for the Cheese Cake.

Then the following day we re-arranged the flowers into a more relaxed look for lunch party

Congratulations to Beckie & Richard, such a magical wedding day with so many wonderful moments, I've done my best to record so many here but it's almost impossible to capture the wonderful atmosphere and amazing characters that contributed to such a spectacular event, thank you for including Flower Design in the day.
