Super Spooky Samlesbury Hall Wedding for Shelly & Duncan
This was such a magical wedding and we really did enjoy creating some mysterious blooms for this super ace couple.

Shelly & Duncan's Mood Board was seriously fabulous and included all of the essential bits we need to create an inspiring set of sample designs. The Mood Board can be in any format though proper card versions are our favourite and the size doesn't matter at all, some of the best ones are quite small, we do however need fabric swatches from the Bridesmaids gowns, images of the Bridal gown and the Grooms suit with tie information, if possible a copy of the stationery, table and chair linen samples, Mum's outfits and anything else that is relevant, it's helpful if there are images of flowers and perhaps designs that the Bride & Groom would like to include.
Shelly's sample wedding bouquet was wild and feathery with her favourite Peacock and Guinea Fowl feathers, deep red Roses, Amnesia & Cool Water Roses, Craspedia, Freesia, Lissianthus, Calla Lilies, Rose Hips, Classic Hydrangeas and foliages
Our suggestion for the top table included coloured bottles, slices of tree, mossed balls and tea lights in coloured glass

At last the big day arrived and Jason headed off to the atmospheric Samlesbury Hall
Our gorgeous Bride Shelly along with her lovely Bridesmaids was getting ready in the Bridal Lodge, Jason showed them all how to carry their bouquets
Shelly's Wedding Bouquet looked glorious
Duncan was first to have his rather special Boutonniere
The Bride Groom's Boutonniere featured a Calla Lily, Feathers, Berries, Hydrangea and Craspedia
The Groom's Men's Boutonnieres were all individually created, each was entirely unique
A Fabulous Dahlia Boutonniere
Inside the Whittaker Room the scene was set with our candlelit Hurricane Lamps lining the aisle leading up to two of our Enchanted Trees framing the Registrars table
The Enchanted Trees were dressed with Chinese Lanterns, Sunflowers and other fresh blooms and foliages
The Hurricane Lamps were surrounded by Physalis and Rose Petals
The windowsills all around the room were decorated with fresh Gourdes and coloured glass bottles filled with fresh flowers
Outside in the gardens of Samlesbury Hall a collection of colourful fungi were growing adding to the enchantment of the day
Shelly's adorable little Flower Girl with her mini version of the Bridal Bouquet
The very gorgeous Bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the Bridal Bouquet, it was so lovely to see Victoria again, here's a link to her very lovely Autumn Wedding a couple of years ago
Our beautiful Bride Shelly looked breathtaking
The ceremony looked spectacular
The fabulous Dan Wootton was capturing all of the magic, I can't wait to see his images
Huge Congratulations to Shelly & Duncan from all of the team here at Flower Design
Angela was ready with the fizz...
Inside The Great Hall, the tables were dressed with a truly autumnal collection of designs which helped to create a magical atmosphere
The Top Table looked brilliant, the coloured glass and the coloured blooms really popped off the ivory table cloth
An Autumnal collection of Brassica, Chrysanths, Dahlias and Craspedia bursting out of a Pumpkin
Magnificent Enchanted Tree with candlelit Orbs was the perfect table design
The jugs of juice matched the colours magnificently
Huge thanks to Shelly & Duncan for choosing Flower Design to create their Wedding Flowers for them.
