Evonnie & Paul's Winter Wonderland Wedding in The Woodlands Suite at Ribby Hall

We had a blast with these two, I learned a lot about all things 'Chinese Wedding' and they learned a lot about flowers,  they were married in that 'No-man's land' time for fresh flowers between Christmas & New Year, thankfully we have a brilliant supply chain and our man in Holland the lovely Hein managed to come up with the goods for all of our Brides during that week.

At Ribby Hall Spa Hotel  Jason had the honour of presenting Evonnie with her Bridal Bouquet which according to Chinese custom included 8 different varieties of flowers; Calla Lilies, Roses, Freesia, Anemone, Orchid, Ranuncula, Lissianthus & Gypsophila, though the colour scheme was shades of purple it was important to include the lucky colour of red

Inside The Woodlands Suite at the fabulous Ribby Hall Village a Winter Wonderland atmosphere prevailed for this huge wedding
Two of our gigantic vases framed the Registrars table
These designs were massive, well over 2 metres tall, we'd arranged flowers and fairy lights in the base of the vase and then topped it with a gargantuan design of silver Corylus dressed with fairy lights, Snowflake Gypsophila and Phalaenopsis Orchids
Posies of Snowflake Gypsophilia dressed the Registrars Table perfectly leaving a space in the centre for our Bride to lay down her wedding bouquet
Our Hurricane Lamps and Rose petals illuminated the aisle

Evonnie's super handsome Bride Groom the lovely Paul was first to have his Boutonniere pinned in place
Paul's Bride Groom's Boutonniere included 8 elements too Blue Spruce, an Aubergine Calla Lily, Snowflake Gypsophilia, Violet Lissianthus, Phalaenopsis Orchid, Astrantia and Ranuncula to match his Bride's Bouquet
There were 8 Boutonnieres in total and each one was created from a single flower variety, in this case the violet Lissianthus

Evonnie's beautiful Bridesmaids were wearing shades of purple and carried smaller versions of the Bride's Bouquet
The Bridesmaid's Bouquets toned so perfectly with their gowns and wraps, we'd included the 8 flower varieties we'd used in the Bride's Bouquet Roses, Calla Lilies, Orchids, Freesia, Ranuculas, Lissianthus, Astrantia and Gypsophilia
Evonnie and her super proud brother arrived in Ribby Hall's own Rolls Royce chauffeur driven by the lovely Douglas

Evonnie looked breathtakingly beautiful
Hannah from Ribby Hall was looking after everything beautifully ensuring that all ran smoothly

Huge Congratulations to Evonnie & Paul from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

Whilst our Bride & Groom and their guests enjoyed the celebrations a transformation was taking place in The Woodlands Suite and very magical it looked too with 15 tables dressed with magnificent vases of silver wintery branches and Gypsophilia
On the round 'Top Table' we'd arranged small vases of Gypsophilia around the huge central vase of branches, Gypsophilia and Orchids
A posy of Gypsophilia and wintery branches with fairy lights decorated the base of the vase

What a fabulous couple!!!xxx

Festive Bridal Bouquet of 8 flower varieties; Aubergine Calla Lilies, Roses; Snowflake, Black Baccara & Grand Prix (Just one), White Freesia, Anemone, Orchid, Ranunculas, Lissianthus & Gypsophila with seasonal foliages and berries
