Hipster's All The Way For This Unique & Personal Wedding Celebration at Ashton Memorial Williamson Park & Thurnham Hall For Stephanie & Mark
I really don't know where to begin with this epic wedding, it's a fabulous story, so beautifully crafted by our imaginative & creative Bride & Groom, they live in London so we've enjoyed a long distance relationship punctuated by face to face meetings where a 'show & tell' atmosphere prevailed.
~
I first met up with these two uber cool folks last Autumn, we decided on a route to creating something truly unique, a skeleton of an idea you might say. We met up again in the Spring at Thurnham Hall, with a plan to put some meat on the bare bones.
I was knocked out by Mark's punchy graphics his fabulous invitations and order of service, the vibe was 'Music Hall Billboard' complete with cast list. Stephanie's gown was breathtaking and her ideas for Bridesmaids dresses were ace. The fabrics for ties & pocket squares were seriously lush and just wait until you see our Bride Groom's bow tie it's sublime.

The next step was of course to meet up at FD HQ and for our couple to see our ideas made up as sample designs, in a happy change to our usual plan their fabulous photographer the brilliant James Jebson came down to familiarise himself with the colours and atmosphere for the day, he took some great pictures, the original ideas have of course been developed and have evolved to perfection for the big day...
Our Bride Groom's name was immortalised in flower pots
Finally the big day arrived, the sun was shining and our flowers were revealed in glorious technicolour
Our beautiful Bride and her sensational Bridesmaids enjoyed my presentation of our bridal bouquet carrying lesson
Berto and I headed onward and upward to the very peak of Lancaster, the ceremony was taking place at Ashton Memorial in the middle of Williamson Park
Inside Ashton Memorial, the scene was set with vibrant blooms dressing the Registrars table and floral flower pots spelling out Dunbavan lining the aisle
The Bride & Groom's initials were set into a full on floral garland dressing the Registrars table
The Flower Pots with 'Scrabble' letters were filled with posies of fresh flowers
Continuing the 'Scrabble' theme, our boutonnieres included scrabble tiles the letters representing the names of the people wearing them
Each boutonniere was individually created using a unique collection of fresh flowers taken from the bridal bouquets
The ladies corsages too were treated to the scrabble effect
Our fabulous Bride Groom the super cool and super handsome Mark complete with his beautiful Boutonniere and wooden bow tie
Mark's Boutonniere included fresh Rosemary, Lily of the Valley, Craspedia, Cornflower, Rose Buds and Blackberries
Wild Boutonniere of Nigella, Peppermint, Blackberries and Dasies bound with lace and jute
A Boutonniere of Craspedia, Pink Roses and Papillion Hydrangeas
A wild Boutonniere of fresh Brodea, Love in the Mist, Blackberries, Mentha and September Flower
Wild Boutonniere of Thalaspi, Nephrolepis, Freesia 'Oberon', Spearmint, Rosemary and Tana
I loved this Boutonniere featuring a spectacular checkerboard Dahlia, Thalaspi, September Flower and Blackberries
Rather special scrabble cuff links
This wrist corsage of Astrantia, Hydrangeas, Roses and Thalaspi complimented the soft pale 'Chai' coloured gown
Seriously cool graphics...

The celebrations moved on to the historic surroundings of Thurnham Hall
Inside the oak panelled dining room the tables were dressed with unique table designs
Each table was dressed with themed designs created to tie in with the particular table name
For Spitalfields Market table we used paint tins filled with fresh flowers
For the Borough Market Table, afternoon tea designs created a beautiful scene
The Broadway Market table was the 'Hipster' table complete with hat and all sorts of randomness
Portobello Road table included lots of vintage pieces each one filled with fresh flowers
The Top Table looked truly magnificent
Our work here was done it was time to leave the party in full swing, massive thanks to Stephanie & Mark for choosing us and to James Jebson for providing some lovely pics of the sample designs, a full posting dedicated to his images of the big day will right here in the New Year
