The Gorgeous Winter "Gatsby" Style Wedding of Nick & Rachel at The White Church and Royal Lytham Golf Club

On a very cold and beautiful January day, I presented our gorgeous Bride Rachel with her Bridal Bouquet for our very first Wedding of 2014

This beautiful wedding took place on 3rd January and it wasn't easy to secure delivery of these exquisite white Peonies they are Rachel's favourite flower and featured on her Mood Board though none of us thought it would be possible given the date!!!
Jason & I headed off to the magnificent White Church to meet up with our lovely Groom Nick and his Groom's Men and to put the finishing touches to the flowers arranged inside this wonderful and well loved building
Nick and his Ushers arrived bright and early, each of them wearing a uniquely designed boutonniere in Black & White
Inside The White Church we'd arranged fresh floral posies on the end of each alternate Pew End a majestic Pedestal in the centre and two candelabras to frame the ceremony space

The Pew end posies included fragrant white Stocks, white Freesia, Roses, Anemones and Hydrangea florets

The Boutonnieres and Corsages were all lined up ready for me to pin them on to the all important guests as they arrived

Massive Congratulations to Rachel & Nicholas from all of us here at Flower Design Events
The amazing photographer on the day was the fabulous Dan Wootton we really can't wait to see his images of this magical day

Camera Phones to the ready here comes the Bride & Groom...

Our beautiful Bride & Groom created an un planned receiving line as they left the Church everyone wanted to congratulate the happy couple

The celebrations moved on to the historic surroundings of Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club

The Church pedestal took pride of place next to Seve Ballesteros on the grand stair way
Inside the historic bar posies of fresh flowers softened the masculine space

The Dining Room looked wonderful with all of the tables dressed with candlelit Baroque style Candelabras
Fresh Amaryllis, Roses, Tulips, Eryngium and Hydrangeas dressed our wonderfully romantic candelabras

Fresh Fragrant Rose Petals and Tea Lights dressed the table top
Along the length of the top table we'd laid reflective mirrors on which to sit crystal cake stands, vases, votives and candlesticks each one dressed with ribbons and filled with fresh flowers
Crystal or hand blown glass vessels were filled with posies of fresh Tulips, Anemones, Ranunculas, Arabicum, Paper Whites and Hyacinths creating a fragrant and romantic design

Our work here was done it was time to head for home and leave the party in full swing, huge thanks to Rachel, Nick and both of their families for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers
