Laura & Howard Barton's Beautiful Wedding Day at St Michael's & The Inn at Whitewell 28th May 2010

Laura and her lovely Bridesmaids were all getting ready at The Inn at Whitewell when Jason & I delivered the bridal bouquets on Friday morning.
I was really looking forward to this wedding, Laura is so lovely and she loved all of my favourite flowers, Lily of the Valley, Sweet Peas & Peonies to name but three, Laura had chosen my all time favourite wedding dress designer Suzanne Neville and if that wasn't enough she had the fabulous Lisa Aldersley as her photographer so I knew it was going to be a truly fabulous day!The wedding bouquet hand over was going well
The room was so calm and relaxed a perfect start to a perfect day

Janet Laura's gorgeous Mum was having her Amnesia & Metalina Rose corsage attached. Then we went nextdoor to St Michael's I'd made a candlelit Pedestal design incorporating Eremurus, Delphiniums, Peonies, Hydramgeas and Astilbe

The fresh and fragrant rose petal confetti was ready
Corsage of baby Phalaenopsis Orchids, Ivory Agapanthus and rolled Metalina Rose Petals
The Groom's special buttonhole of Amnesia, Lily ofthe Valley & Leucadendron and the Page Boys Buttonhole of Mini Sweet Avalanche

The Inn & St Michael's is set in the most idyllic English countrysideJason just lighting up the lanterns

The Ushers were wearing Avalanche & Hydrangea Buttonholes

Joan The Groom's Mum & the chocolate and Ivory Corsage looking fabulous

Laura looked so completely gorgeous

Laura's lovely vintage pinks wedding bouquet of Peonies, Lily of the Valley, Sweet Peas, Lilac, Amnesia & Metalina RosesThe Bridesmaids were completely gorgeous too and the bluey tones in the foliages and the Amnesia roses made for a perfect combination, I love their gowns too!
The two beautiful flower girls carried simple posies of Sweet Peas

The service was beautifully conducted by the brand new vicar at St Michael's I really enjoyed it.
The most massive of Congratulations to Laura & Howard

Special hugs for Mum

Then to the Marquee at The Inn at Whitewell for the celebrations, we moved the pedestal from Church to just behind the Top TableThe tables themselves were dressed with a combination of high and low designs - The tall designs were on a verdi gris finished candelabra, dressed with Sweet Peas, Roses, Hydrangeas and Astilbe

I used sets of two Birdcages one containing a lantern and corsage of Miranda Rose & Sweet Peas the other with a lovely arrangement escaping from the bird cage.
Whilst the other low design was contained within a verdi gris finished Bird Bath, I used Eucharis Lilies, Peonies, Roses & Astilbe.

The lovely Sharon from The Inn was getting all the drinks ready

Then back to Church just to catch the end of the Rose Petal throwing

The fabulous Chris Hurst from Sure Fire Magic was just starting to entertain everyone and it was time for us to go, our work here was done!

This was such a totally magical day, we didn't want to go, but all good things have to come to an end, though it's just the beginning for Laura & Howard I know they'll have a wonderful life together! xxxx

I can honestly say I have seen such fabulous flowers than those at Howard and Laura's wedding. In fact I am so happy as I was lucky enough to be able to bring home the arrangement from the top table so now my house is filled with all these beautiful flowers! In fact you have now inspired me to take up a floristry course!
