Jaydene & David Kirk's Summer Sunshine Wedding Day at The Gibbon Bridge Hotel

Jaydene has been one of those truly lovely Brides that makes my job such an absolute pleasure, not only is she beautiful but she has great taste too.
I loved her vibrant colour choice and it really suited the fabulous shade of the bridesmaid's gowns.

Jaydene & David were getting married in the thoroughly lovely "Band Stand" at Gibbon Bridge. We've been coming to Gibbon Bridge for all sorts of weddings and events for more years than we care to remember and in all that time the "Band Stand" has always been immaculate, they dress it for every wedding; the drapes are replaced, the furniture renewed and carpets cleaned regularly, making this space feel absolutely worthy of the Marriage Vows and Promises made under it's canopy.

We provided a symmetrical pedestal design in strong bold colours that were designed to be complimentary to the surrounding exquisite gardens and hanging baskets.

The registrars table design incorporated a couple of chapel candles, purple Delphinium Elatum, Gloriosa Rothschild, eremurus and a profusion of English Roses.

We dressed the steps up to the Band Stand with small posies of fragant flowers and lanterns

David, Jaydene's handsome Groom wore a Green Tea Rose with Champagne Grass and fresh Rosemary, the boutonniere was attached to his lapel with a diamante pin.

Best Man & Ushers John, James & Gareth wearing Amalia Rose Boutonniere's.

The Groom's Mum Ann chose a wrist corsage on a pearl bracelet, with Amalia Roses, Pale Pink Nerines and rolled Rose Petals.

Jaydene's parents, Avril wore a wrist corsage including a Green Tea Rose, Crystal Blush Calla Lily and Rolled Rose Petals.

We created a special "Welcome Ring" Seating Plan, each section of the ring represented the table names, the Seating Plan was outside on the terrace for all the guests to study.

The stunning Bridesmaid's Sarah & Faye wore Grecian style gowns in a stunning Jade/Emerald schiffon with silver and diamante detailing.

Jaydene wore an exquisite Benjamin Roberts Gown available from Dreamcatcher in Kirkham.

The guests all gathered around the Band Stand, all of their nearest and dearest sit within the Band Stand.

The Photographers for the day were our all time favourites Steve & Stephanie Ashton, their work is simply sublime, I for one can't wait to see these photos.

The Bridesmid's Bouquets included a "Cocophony" of colours, we used Amalia, Miranda, Green Tea, Illios Roses together with Gloriosa, Craspedia & Calla lilies.

Jaydene's Bouquet handle was bound in ivory silk to match her gown perfectly and then finished with a diamante vintage brooch.

The girls both wore fresh flowers in their hair

The musical entertainment was provided by the fabulous Carlton Ensemble from Cheadle

Delicious Gibbon Bridge Canapes

Jason transferred the registrars table design to the top table and the pedestal design to just behind it.The tables at Gibbon Bridge are rectangular ovals so we decided to make the most of the space by placing three delicate vases on each table.

The cake topper was made of fresh flowers in a design to represent a miniature version of Jaydene's Bridal Bouquet

The Dining room at Gibbon Bridge, The chair covers were provided by Creative Cover Hire who always do a fantastic job.

The windowsills were all dressed with small posies of fresh flowers, these could all be given to the ladies at the end of the evening.

Each table posy was made quite different from the next which created a very natural garden feel to the room.

Jaydene's Bridal Bouquet in vivid colours included Oncidium Orchids, Gloriosa Rothschild, Craspedia, Delphinium, Agapanthus, Sweet Peas, Roses and Calla Lilies.
