The Inn at Whitewell Wedding & David Austin Roses

This is the very elegant wedding of Guy & Melanie, they were married at The Inn at Whitewell, 30th April 2009

Melanie's bridal bouquet of David Austin Patience Roses, Dutch Avalanche & fresh Rosemary.
Jenny's Bouquet of Amnesia & Metalina Roses

Melanie and I had chosen a very simple and beautiful selection of Roses to create her wedding designs.
We placed small posies of Patience & Metalina Roses on the windowsills.

The ceremony room at The Inn is intimate with the most fabulous views across the valley.
I arranged a simple vase of Avalanche & Akito Roses with fresh fragrant Eucalyptus and placed it on a pedestal stand. The Patience & Eucalyptus fragrance was heavenly and filled the small room with a gentle sweetness only English Roses can create.

We arranged a simple row of hurricane lamps, trails of ivy and Avalanche Roses along the fireplace.
The candle in the centre of the Registrars table centre was studded with tiny seed pearls, we love details like this that don't detract from perfect flowers.

After we'd set up the ceremony room we went to find Melanie, she was getting ready in one of the gorgeous bedrooms at The Inn, even in her dressing gown she looked beautiful.

We made Amnesia Rose buttonholes for all of the gentlemen except the Groom
Guy our lovely Groom wore an Avalanche Rose with a sprig of fresh Rosemary

Jenny the beautiful Bridesmaid wore an aubergine gown that looked perfect with the bouquet of Amnesia & Metalina Roses.

Congratulations to Guy and Melanie Griffiths, we were so delighted to created your wedding flowers many thanks for choosing us.

The official photographer for the day was Reg Moore from Preston

Melanie wore a beautiful Alfred Angelo gown
Melanie's bouquet was a very simple hand tied bouquet of the most exquisite roses, "Patience" from David Austin and "Avalanche" with some tiny sprigs of fragrant Rosemary between the blooms.

The Bridesmaid's bouquet was created in a combination of Amnesia & Metalina again with rosemary sprigs between and amongst. I love this huge table and the flowers from the cermony fit perfectly.
To add to the heady fragrances we included some flowering Jasmine, the sweet sent was lifted even higher by the warmth of the candle light.
The wedding cake was as everything else at this wedding, elegant, classy and simple, the thing is with a simple design like this the execution has to be perfect and we always notice how immaculate the cakes are that are made by our old friend Joe at Specialized Cakes in Burnley, he is brilliant this is a link to another wedding at Whitewell with one of his cakes. We dreseed the cake with fresh rolled rose petals and sprigs of Rosemary.
