Christmas Door Wreath Workshop at Jack's at The Island.

This was our first hands on workshop since the "Flower Club" in Flower Design, working with Keith at Jack's has been a superb experience, it is such a pleasure to work with someone who shares the same desire for customer service as we do. Jack's at The Island really is a fabulous venue, the views, the food, the service and the space provided is very special and somewhat of a little secret, many of the ladies didn't even know it was there and were absolutely knocked out by what they saw and enjoyed. So many, many thanks to Keith and his team for a brilliant morning! What could be more welcoming on a cold and infact snowy December morning than a bottle of Champagne on ice ready for your enjoyment and a very handsome waiter Danny, offering you delectable Quails egg Florentine tartlets? The answer is more than one handsome waiter we also had the very attentive and handsome Brent to look after us all this morning at Jack's at The Island.
We had some lovely Christmas tunes playing to get everyone in the spirit.

We set the scene, I had a stage!

This is my introduction to my very own version of Top Gear's "The Stig" she is our semi tame Constance Spry trained florist Rosie we just know her as "Rosie disposition" .

So it was back to school for our lovely ladies and "Stewy Vuitton".

The space that Jack's provided was absolutely perfect, not only for this event but any Birthday Party or Celebration night.

We began with a Blue Spruce framework, Zoe & Sara really applied themselves and their Door wreaths were brilliant when finished.

The "Townsend Girls" & Karen were having three on one tuition from "The Big Guy"

This is me as a "Tree".
Gill & Jean learning wiring techniques, Gill was so surprised by her own hidden talent she is a natural!

"Stewy" with the finished article! Absolutely fabulous darling!
I am so Proud of Claire! What a superb Door Wreath!
Karen from Jack's, with her fabulous creation.
Then we moved to Brunch, this was our view as we sat and enjoyed Keith's culinary creations.

Keith's exceptionally elegant smoothie.

You may be wondering where my wonderful side kick Sally is!, on this occasion she was infact behind the camera, she took many of these fabulous photgraphs, we really are very lucky to have such a talented team!
The very talented Chef's at the pass, superb scrambled eggs, Smoked Salmon & Brioche.

So if you wan't to enjoy more of Keith's fabulous cuisine then click on the name to link to the Jack's at The Island web site and book in for over the festive period.

Must admit to arriving at this event with trepidation - I don't do creative and a wonderful piece of advice given to me many years ago was, if you can't do something well then employ someone who can! Better still find a best friend who's an expert!

Well, what a wonderful morning - it was an absolute joy. Bucks fizz and glorious canapes on arrival and then the workshop. If you'd have told me that I would be making my very own welcome ring, that it would be really beautiful, I would have a fab time doing it, would feel extremely proud, meet some lovely ladies, have a good natter with Stewy and finish with an amazing brunch whilst admiring a fabulous view, I'd have said "don't be daft!

A huge thank you to Jane, Jason, Rosie, Sally, all at Jacks, the lovely ladies and Stewy and when are we going to do it all again!

That looks like such a fun day. Mum, you look like a star my friend Morgane thought it was from a tv shoot! I have to say i am most impressed with Claire and Stuies work, i think you should give them a job. The food looks great too. Love Rebecca xxx

Even though initially Rebecca forced us to read your blog, we in fact thoroughly enjoyed it, and we will be your regular audience. We are also trying to get her to let us come and stay in the town of blackpool, with you so we can come to one of your events. TTFN Tiger and Jeremy
Tiger & Jeremy, you are both highly famous around these parts, you could do a "Turn" at one of the Supper Clubs, 22nd January is the next one, you could enjoy the sights and pleasures of Blackpool too! Please look after my daughter she is extremely precious to us!
