Pastel Peonies and Roses for Nicola & Christopher Fairhaven Church & The Glendower Hotel

This was one of those weddings that we were all looking forward to, it's lovely to look after 'florally speaking' gorgeous people, particularly when the wedding is in our home town of Lytham, even more so when one of the Bridesmaid's is one of your favourite Bride's from last year.
There was a plethora of great suppliers too, not least the incredible team at The Glendower who really do an absolutely superb job and there was their super lovely photographer John Francis Photography, the fabulous Make Up Artist Emma Askew, Anne-Marie from Hair by Claire Ashton and a gorgeous gown from Berketex Brides, what more could anyone ask for...

We'd had a series of really good and thorough appointments with Nicola who'd created a spectacular mood board to help inspire our designs..
For our next appointment we created a set of sample Bridal designs for them to see including a sample Bridal Bouquet
A Sample Tall Table Design an FD Flower Bomb
A suggestion for a low table centrepiece featuring a Hurricane Lantern
An idea for the Top Table

Our Shirl was the lucky FD florist presenting the bridal bouquets to our Bride and her beautiful Bridesmaid's over at The Glendower in on one of their suites, the bouquets included a heavenly combination of Peonies, English Garden Roses, Floribunda and Tea Roses in shades of peach, coral, blush, pink and ivory
Our beautiful Bride with her fab Bridesmaid's Alison & Michelle

Simple boutonniere for the Bride's Dad Neil featuring a Vendella Rose with a Gracia Creme Rose Bud, Gypsophilia and Eucalyptus
The Corsage of fresh Rose Buds, Hydrangeas and Wax Flowers for the Bride's Mum Sheila
Shirl headed over to Fairhaven Methodist Church to meet the Bride Groom Christopher and to arrange the fresh flowers
The Hurricane Lanterns were clustered up the aisle and two pedestals framed the Altar

Our Hurricane Lanterns lining the aisle were surrounded by fresh fragrant Rose Petals

The two huge pedestals included fresh Roses, Hydrangeas, Stocks, Peonies, Dahlias and fragrant Herbs and foliages

Shirl lined up all of the boutonnieres ready to pin them on to the Groom and his Groom's Men as they arrived

The lovely Groom's Mum Linda looked fabulous her corsage in blue and ivory matched her ensemble perfectly
Nicola's very handsome Bride Groom Christopher was first to have his boutonniere pinned to his lapel
The Bride Groom's Boutonniere featured a fresh Roses and Lissianthus and Eucalyptus leaves
Shirl pinned on all of the boutonnieres ensuring each one was positioned perfectly

The little Flower Girl's posy made for Zara

The Bridesmaid's were wearing soft pale pink floaty gowns their pastel bouquets of Peonies and Roses matched superbly

The Bride's Mum Sheila looked super glam and her corsage matched her ivory and pale green outfit beautifully

Completely adorable...
