Soft Pinks, Navy Blue Candy Stripes & Golden Pineapples for Jude & Dave's Fabulous Wedding Day at Bartle Hall Hotel

This was one of those weddings you find yourself really looking forward to, besides the fact it was at one of our all time favourite venues the brilliant Bartle Hall, it included such a huge amount of loveliness, as a florist you just can't wait to make everything, the colours and designs were all so inspirational and then you can't wait to see it all in position and finally you can't wait to share it on your blog imagine how crushing it was when Jason & Chloe came back and said I wasn't allowed to post it, nooooo!!! but I thought I'd just check, I sent Jude the 'Congratulations shot' thankfully she came back with a big 'Thumbs up' and I am so delighted to be able to share some truly gorgeous February wedding flowers with you....
~
Just before Christmas we got together for the very first time with Jude in person, we'd met up with her super ace Mum Jackie and only spoken with Jude on Face time and Skype as she lives so far away, so Jackie & I had planned and plotted some fabulous flowers with Jude on the other end of a computer, I've really enjoyed our meetings and felt like Jude and I were friends when we finally got to meet face to face to present our sample designs for her wedding day.
I'd made her a relaxed sample wedding bouquet of Roses, Ranunculus, Eryngium, Berries, Hellebores, Anemones, white Delphinium Volkerfrieden and foliages

We'd made Dave a sample Boutonniere featuring Ranunculus, Hellebores, Thistles and Rolled Petals
At last the big day arrived, our Chloe did the big reveal presenting the Bridal bouquets to our Bridal party in one of the suites at Bartle Hall which incidentally are perfect for a Bride and a number of Bridesmaids to get ready in, the lights great and there's loads of space too.

Chloe showed all of the bridesmaids and Flower Girl how to carry their bouquets perfectly
The little Flower Girl Harriet looked absolutely adorable
Jude's wedding bouquet now included some seasonal additions that weren't possible at the sample appointment, I'd added some fresh fragrant Jasmine, some Peach Blossom and a cheeky little Pineapple alongside the Roses, Ranunculus, Eryngium, Berries, Hellebores, Anemones, white Delphinium Volkerfrieden and foliages

Jude was busy having her make up done by the very lovely Rachel from Lady Gray Beauty  but still joined in the bouquet holding lesson.

Downstairs in the Windsor Suite Chloe, Olivia & I had set up for the ceremony, we'd lined the aisle with fresh fragrant Rose Petals and golden pineapples

The chairs had been dressed by the team from Creative Cover Hire

The Registrars table design was created in a wild and relaxed style incorporating some pink pineapples and lots of fresh Jasmine and Ranunculus

We'd decorated both of the fireplaces in The Windsor Suite with our golden Pineapple vase and smaller vessels filled with fresh flowers and more golden Pineapples

A large golden vase filled with fresh flowers welcomed the guests as they arrived and decorated the table in the entrance hall

Chloe lined up the Corsages and Boutonnieres, each one was unique and perfectly formed, designed to compliment the Groom's and Groom's Men's suits perfectly

The Bride Groom's Boutonniere was created by Chloe and matched his ensemble beautifully, it featured a gorgeous pink Ranunculus with a Hellebore floret, Eryngium , Viburnum, mini 'Pineapple Flower' and Rolled Rose Petals, all in all quite exquisite.

Chloe had bound the stem with navy blue ribbon to match Dave's navy blue jacket
I loved this corsage created for the Bride's Mum Jackie, I'd included a collection of fresh Hellebores, and small Anemones with navy blue Viburnum Berries and some tiny Eryngium Thistles

The fabulous Bride Groom Dave, his outfit completed by his rather special boutonniere
Chloe pinned on all of the Boutonnieres ensuring each one was positioned perfectly

Upstairs everyone was nearly ready so Chloe bobbed up to attach the Flower Girl's head dress of fresh Rose Buds,  Ranunculus, Gypsophilia and Viburnum Berries

The Bride's Mum Jackie looked stunning and her corsage matched her ensemble perfectly

The Bride's Dad (& Pineapple painter extrodinaire) also had his boutonniere pinned to his lapel by our Chloe

The Bridesmaids looked gorgeous and gathered on the landing waiting for the Bride

I'd made the Bridesmaid's Bouquets as smaller versions of the Bridal Bouquet

Our fabulous Bride the totally gorgeous Jude looked amazing she was wearing a stunning gown by White Rose Bridal from Heavenly Bodies Bridal in Beckenham

Huge Congratulations to Jude and Dave from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

The team at Bartle Hall running the day was headed up by the fabulous Martin Wilson who was first to Congratulate our Bride and Groom with a glass of Champagne

How gorgeous are these two?? xxx

This wedding bouquet in fabulously romantic yet vibrant shades looked so perfect with Jude's gown
The celebrations continued in the Balmoral Suite where the tables were all beautifully dressed with collections of fresh flower posies and golden Pineapples set amongst a gathering of candlelit golden votives

The navy blue and white table runners looked splendid

We loved all of the details...

The super lovely John Francis was the professional photographer we can't wait to see his images

Our work here was done it was time to leave the party in full swing, huge thanks to Jackie, Jude & Dave for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers for them.
