Vibrant Colour for Melissa & Joe's Beautiful Wedding at St Helen's Church Waddington & Eaves Hall
We have so enjoyed getting to know these two gorgeous folks, what a fabulous wedding day they planned, we'd met up with them both way back in October 2014, back then they were both so excited and had a pretty clear idea of the look they were going for, I feel like we've known them forever, it's been a long time in the planning and preparing, so much care, so much attention to detail and by their own efforts have made their wedding day one the entire Flower Design team will remember for many years to come.
This January they came into our studio with all of their ideas, they'd prepared this lovely mood board for us to work with and be inspired by, they brought along some fabulous Milk Churns and a collection of decorated jam jars all dressed beautifully.
In May we got together again to present our ideas, sample designs created exclusively for Melissa & Joe, the Bridal Bouquet was bright and colourful including lots of their favourite blooms, Peonies, English Garden Roses, Love in the Mist, Sweet peas and Hydrangeas

At long last the big day arrived and Jason was the very lucky Flower Design florist to get to make the delivery and presentation of Bridal Bouquets to our gorgeous Bride and her lovely Bridesmaids
Melissa loved her bouquet it even matched her dressing gown
The Bridesmaids carried smaller relaxed versions of the Bridal bouquet
Our Jason headed off to one of our favourite Churches, St Helen's at Waddington
The two milk churns framed the front door perfectly, they were topped with fresh Eremurus, Apricot Stocks, Coral Peonies, Love in the Mist, Roses and Hydrangeas
Jam Jars dressed expertly were filled with posies and candles and dressed the porch area providing a warm welcome for the guests
Inside this beautiful Church we'd decorated each alternate Pew End with a posy of fresh fragrant flowers and our Bride & Groom's own wicker hearts were on the ones inbetween
Two magnificent pedestal designs framed the ceremony space like two 'Guardian Angels'
A glorious collection of fresh Eremurus 'Foxtail Lilies' pale blue Delphiniums, Peonies, Roses, Daisies, Nigella 'Love in the Mist', Hydrangeas and Viburnum Opulus
Melissa's super handsome Bride Groom Joe was first to have his Boutonniere pinned to his lapel
Rolled Rose Petals with Love in the Mist, Hydrangea Florets and Sweet peas, all bound together with lace and tied up with string
Jason pinned on all of the Boutonnieres ensuring each one was positioned perfectly
The super glamorous Ladies had their corsages attached to their jackets with magnets, Grandma Elsie looked wonderful with her simple corsage of Roses buds and Sweet Peas
The super proud Groom's Mum Jennifer was wearing a lavender blue shade, we'd made her a corsage to compliment her ensemble

Fabulous Coral & White Peonies were teamed with Juliet, White O'Hara & Vuvuezela Perfumed Garden Roses amid a collection of fresh herbs and meadow flowers and grasses in the Bridesmaid's Bouquets
A beautiful Bride was next to arrive...
Our beautiful Bride the lovely Melissa literally took everyone's breath away as she arrived, with fresh flowers in her hair and her heavenly bridal bouquet of Coral Peonies, Angel Cheeks Peonies and Duchesse De Nemours Peonies, Coral and Apricot Sweet Peas with blue Nigella 'Love in the Mist', Chamomile, Rosemary, Brodea, Juliet, O'Hara, Vuvuezela and Miss Piggy Roses with lots of fresh Herbs and meadow grasses
Kerry Baker Make Up Artist was doing a great job of looking after the Bridal Party and the make up looked perfect, the Bridal hair was done so beautifully by Kellie Hughes

The celebrations moved on to the magical surroundings of Eaves Hall, we'd dressed the tables with a combination of high and low table centrepieces
The fresh flowers were arranged in wooden heart vases set on slices of tress surrounded by posies and tea light votives to compliment the hessian and lace runners and chair swags provided by Creative Cover Hire
The Love sign was provided by the lovely folks from Typical Type
The tall elegant table centres looked gorgeous set on our conical vases with suspended tea light orbs providing gentle illumination
The top table featured a series of tree slices with jam jar posies and tea light votives running along the full length of the table
