What a stunning and beautiful day it was yesterday for Aimee & James' wedding, I have to say that these two are a fabulous couple, with gorgeous taste and a truly wonderful family, we have absolutely loved working with them, Aimee's brief was clear and direct and her instructions accompanied by their splendid (& huge) Mood board made creating their flowers an absolute joy, we will miss the whole family enormously.
They had a great team on board for this fabulous day with the intrepid Tiree Dawson photographer and sometime adventurer, she is absolutely amazing and we can't wait to see her images. The super talented Wayne Farrow entertained everyone superbly and of course the great folks from The Merewood Coutry House Hotel

The gorgeous Aimee's fabulous Bride Groom James is so far winning our annual award for the most romantic and thoughtful Bride Groom, last month at our Mood Board meeting it was decided that dressing the staircase was to be put on the 'Wish list pile' reserved for items, though desired can't always be achieved, the super lovely James sent me a top secret message ordering the floral embellishments to the staircase as a surprise for his beautiful Bride...
Jason & Ruby presented the Bridal bouquets to our beautiful Bride and her gorgeous Bridesmaids
A beautifully wild and loose style of wedding bouquet including a glorious collection of Spring Blooms in shades of pale gold, pale blue, Buttermilk and ivory
This relaxed Bridal Bouquet included beautiful White Peonies, David Austin's Patience Roses, Sweet peas, Almond Blossom, white Lilac, Delphinium, Thalaspi, Umberella Fern and Allium Neapolitan
The Merewood is set in such beautiful grounds
The Groom's Mum's Corsage of nude Rose Buds, Rolled petals and Albiflora berries

The Groom's men's Boutonnieres of Vendella Roses and Pale Blue Delphinium florets
The Bride Groom's Patience Roses with Snowflake buds, Delphinium Florets and Hydrangeas framed with Eucalyptus leaves

The Groom's Mum Alison looked super glamorous and her corsage matched her blush ensemble beautifully
Jason pinned on all of the boutonnieres on the Groom's Men ensuring perfect positioning
In the Ceremony Room the scene was set with two fabulous pedestal designs framing the ceremony so elegantly
Our luscious Registrars Table design included Cream Tulips, Cream Hyacinths, Cream Stocks, Ivory Ranunculas, Sweet Peas, Delphiniums, Hydrangeas, Lilac and Roses
Each pedestal was in a relaxed and natural style with a plethora of naturally trailing foliages, Stocks, Hydrangeas, Delphiniums and Roses
The super gorgeous Bride's Mum Sharon looked stunning and her pale blue corsage matched her outfit perfectly
The Bridal Party made their way down the elegantly dressed staircase
Our Bride the lovely Aimee looked absolutely breathtakingly beautiful
Missy looked fabulous in her navy blue Bridesmaid's gown
The Bridesmaids Ashley, Jasmine and Jessica looked lovely in their navy blue gowns their bouquets contrasted beautifully

Aimee & James' Ceremony was presided over by my favourite Lake District Registrar
Huge & Ginormous Congratulations to Aimee & James from all of the team here at Flower Design Events
Whilst the guests enjoyed the drinks reception a transformation was taking place and a magnificent banqueting room was created
We absolutely loved the stationery and it matched the flowers perfectly
Tall elegant LSA vases topped by floral loveliness illuminated with tea light glass orbs suspended from the tall table designs
Our fantastic Top table design is Jason's favourite design we call it 'Hanging Garden's of Babylon'
