The Fabulous Christmas Wedding of Melissa & Alex at The Villa

I can't begin to tell you how much I loved working with these truly lovely people, Melissa is such a credit to her fantastic Mum the super glamorous Sonya and what a joy it was to meet the lovely Alex on their big day at The Villa in Wrea Green
Melissa, Sonya & I met up a few times firstly to get to know each other and to find out what the general plans were for the big day, our next meeting with Melissa was with her spectacular Mood Board. Melissa had had an accident and was nursing a badly injured leg, we had only about 8 weeks to go to the wedding and Melissa's aim was to ditch the crutches before walking down the aisle, this young lady is so determined and hard working I had no doubt she'd do it!!!!
~
The Mood Board was fabulous and included all of the elements that would bring this magical day together for Melissa & Alex in exactly the way they wanted.

At our next meeting still with a bit of a hobble, Melissa popped in to see her sample Wedding Bouquet, Boutonnieres and ideas for the table designs

The Big Day finally arrived and I had the great pleasure and honour of presenting the Bridal Bouquets to Melissa and her beautiful Bridesmaids
In This Christmas Wedding Bouquet I included a glorious collection of fresh blooms Crystal Blush Calla Lilies, Akito & Avalanche Roses, Silver Senecio, Snowflake Gypsophilia, Holly Berry & Skimmia with Poppy Seed Heads, Spruces, Eucalyptus and just a smattering of well placed diamante studs, the handle was bound with ivory satin and the stems were left exposed.
Melissa managed to look breathtaking even in her dressing gown

Oh yes they smelled heavenly too!!xx

Downstairs, Melissa's handsome Bride Groom Alex was all ready, I pinned on his Calla Lily & Rose Boutonniere
All of the Groom's Men had an Akito & Snowflake Rose Christmas Boutonniere
I pinned each one in place ensuring perfect positioning

The Groom's Mum looked lovely in her silver and platinum ensemble, we'd made her a wrist corsage to match

The Ceremony Room was dressed and ready, the two Registrars Kath & Malcolm had arrived...
The Registrars Table was dressed with a traditional candlelit design, the fireplace was framed with two of our lovely Baroque Candelabras
Our Baroque candelabras were dressed with Red Roses, Crystal Blush Calla Lilies and Red Ilex Berries with a plethora of luscious Spruces and Evergreens
All of the guests looked beautiful and I continued to pin on corsages
The super glamorous Bride's Mum the very lovely Sonya

We'd created a wrist Corsage for Sonya, to tone with the shades in her gown and her skin tones the result was stunning.

The adorable little Flower Girls were next to arrive each one carried a simple yet beautiful Bouquet of Red & Ivory Roses with Snowflake Gypsophilia and Christmas Evergreens

Then the fabulous Bridesmaids made their entrance into the Piano Bar
The Bridesmaid's Bouquets were created as smaller simpler versions of the Bride's Bouquet

Our gorgeous Bride Melissa, literally took everyone's breath away, she looked completely beautiful

David got everyone in order and the retinue took their places

Melissa was of course walking without crutches but with a Dad on each arm she couldn't possible go wrong!!xxx

Huge Congratulations to Melissa & Alex from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

The celebrations moved on to the Pavillion in The Villa at Wrea Green, the tables were dressed with a combination of silver Baroque Candelabras and Hurricane Lamps
A candlelit Hurricane lamp surrounded by a luscious garland of fresh Crystal Blush Calla Lilies, Ruby Red Roses, Snow white Ranunculas and Red Holly Berries
