The Spectacularly Christmas Wedding of Tom aka 'TK' & Lynn at Sacred Heart Church & The Great Hall at Mains

What an honour and a privilege it was, to be asked to create the flowers for this wonderful wedding day, we've known the super handsome Tom for ages, we've seen him 'grow up' into the most gentle of gentlemen, a seriously talented and capable person, an absolute credit to his truly lovely family: his Mum & Dad Sue & Harry and his Auntie & Uncle Caroline & Paul.
We were so excited to meet his 'exotic' American Bride the utterly, stunningly beautiful Lynn, when she arrived at FD HQ for our first meeting, she 'danced' into my office and it was like someone had switched all of the lights on to full beam!!!!!xxxx
~
So after a few meetings, where their exquisite Mood Board was revealed, a set of sumptuous sample designs were created and final decisions were made, we finally arrived at 'The Big Day'
Adele, John & I presented our Bride and her Bridesmaids with a beautiful collection of wintery wedding bouquets, each one was unique but all included fresh Peonies flown in from Australia, English Helebores "Christmas Roses', Berries, Ranunculas and a plethora of winter Evergreens and Herbs

Lynn's Bridal Bouquet in rich jewel and taupe shades, was a collection textures, frothy Peonies, Velvety Roses, frilly Senecio, Crispy Scabious Seed Heads, Chalky Albifloras amid a ton of winter loveliness
I had the absolute joy of presenting Lynn with her bouquet...
I love it when that happens...

Now for the FD Bridal Bouquet carrying lesson, so important, but so rarely taken as seriously!!xx

We all headed off to Sacred Heart to meet up with Lynn's heart throb Groom Tom, to pin his rather special Boutonniere of a Black Bacara Rose with Rosemary, Ilex Berry, Rolled Petals, a Helebore and a Ranuncula
