The Spectacularly Floral Peckforton Castle Wedding Day of Alison & Charles, Featuring Some Glorious Images from James Jebson Photography

We do love our flowers here at Flower Design Events, we also love Brides & Grooms that have a love and appreciation for fresh flowers and after that we love photographers who love and photograph our flowers beautifully and James Jebson does that time and time again, we thank him hugely for many of the images in this posting, there is a smattering of our own haphazard images but I'm sure you'll be able to tell the difference.

Back to Bride's that love flowers, the totally gorgeous Allison, loved her flowers and she knew exactly the look she wanted, old world floral loveliness, voluptuous designs, bags of texture, a celebration of exquisite blooms; English Garden Roses, Peonies, Lily of the Valley, Lilac, Sweet Peas, Viburnum Opulus, Anemones, Hydrangeas, Delphiniums, Stocks and fresh Herbs to name but a few on her list (It's important to mention that this wedding was way back in March when all of these lovely varieties are available, I've been holding on to it until I had James's beautiful images!!!xxx).

What a huge pleasure it was for me to present Alison with her bouquet and what a joy it is to have that moment captured so perfectly by James Jebson Photography...
Alison's Wedding Bouquet was created in a myriad of colours we'd used 'Macarons' as our inspiration
I Did the all important 'Flower Design Events Bridal Bouquet Carrying Lesson'
The Bride's lovely Mum adored her wrist corsage of Ranunculas, Sweet Peas, Viburnum Opulus, Hydrangea Florets and Rose Buds
James and I took an eventful trip down to the pub to pin on the boutonnieres and for James to photograph the boys
Alisons's super handsome Bride Groom Charles with his Boutonniere of a Miranda Rose from David Austin, fresh Lily of the Valley, Rose Buds and Hydrangea Florets
We headed up to the enchanting Peckforton Castle the venue for the ceremony and wedding breakfast
One of our Floral Hearts graced the front door
Our candlelit lanterns lined the steps leading to the hall
Our Josie lit all of the candles we'd placed around the Hall on windowsills and fireplaces
Inside this magnificent space fresh flowers added to the enchantment of the occasion, two pedestals at the foot of the aisle and two huge pedestals at the head of the aisle to frame the ceremony all in 'Secret Garden" style urns and pedestals, the Minstrels gallery was dressed with fresh flowers and Italian Smilax
Beautiful Pedestal designs framed the foot of the aisle
Candlelit designs on the windowsills
Our Hurricane Lamps lined with fresh fragrant Rose petals lined the aisle
Posies of fresh flowers dressed each alternate chair end lining the aisle
Exquisitely fragranced Norma Jean Roses
Posies of Spring Blooms, fresh Lilac, Tulips, Sweet Peas and Viburnum Opulus were placed along the Registrars table

Now the next few images are all ours

The Minstrels Gallery was swagged with fresh Italian Smilax punctuated with clusters of fresh Roses, Delphiniums and Hydrangeas
The two pedestals at the head of the aisle were huge and included lots of fresh Cherry and Almond Blossom, White Delphiniums, Tuberosa, Antirhinnums, Stocks, Hydrangeas, Roses and Peonies

The Floral Heart looked so luscious and the fragrance was heavenly

This is James's shot

We moved the flowers around to frame the group shots for James

In the dining Room we'd dressed the tables with our tall and elegant crystal candlesticks topped with an array of fresh flowers in soft pastel shades
Around the base of each one posies of fresh flowers decorated the table top perfectly
Fresh Anemones
The lower design created for the tables in front of the top table included a large pillar candle in a hurricane lamp surrounded by a voluptuous wreath of fresh Roses, Stocks, Hydangeas and Viburnum Opulus

The magnificent Wedding Cake was by Lilibet's of Paris in Southport, we'd dressed it with a plethora of fresh flowers in-between the tiers and on top of the cake

The Top table was quite simply magnificent with a series of crystal vessels and candlesticks filled with and dressed with fresh flowers.
On the fireplace behind fresh flowers and candlesticks created a truly fantabulous backdrop for the speeches

The fabulous Howard Wing entertained everyone in his own inimitable style
