English Garden Roses and the Last of the Season's Peonies in a Plethora of Sherbet Colour for Nicola & Nick's Beautiful Wedding at St Hilda's Tottington & Red Hall in Walmersley, Bury

We've had such fun planning this wedding, we've had such great meetings and I was really looking forward to presenting Nicola with her Wedding bouquet, but she wasn't back from the hair dressers so instead I presented the Bouquets and the Bouquet carrying lesson to Nicola's fabulous Bridesmaids...

Nicola's wedding Bouquet was such a glorious collection of heavenly Summer Blooms including David Austin's gorgeous Juliet, Miranda & Keira Roses with Vuvuezela, Avalanche, Sweet Avalanche and Memory Lane Roses with Sweet Peas in pastel shades and fresh fragrant Lily of the Valley, sweet scented Herbs completed the design.
I pinned on Dad's Boutonniere
The Boutonniere included a Miranda Rose from David Austin, fresh Rosemary, Sweet peas and Gypsophilia and a 4 Good Rose Bud
The Brides Mum's Handbag had been dressed with a corsage of Snowflake Roses, Sweet peas, Hydrangea Florets and a tiny touch of bling
St Hilda's Church in Tottington is a modern brightly lit Church, we dressed the front gates with garlands of foliages and Gypsophilia with Hessian Bows and the Brides own wooden hearts

Inside this lovely space we'd placed two huge clouds of Gypsophilia on pedestal stands to frame the Altar and ceremony space, we'd dressed each alternate pew end with a posy of fresh flowers
Posies in jam jars of vibrant fresh fragrant flowers dressed the ends of the pews alternating with posies of fresh Gypsophilia lining the aisle

Our Stone effect urns and stands looked perfect with huge clouds of Gypsophilia on top

The Groom's Mum's Handbag from Jacque Vert was dressed with Roses and Hydrangeas, Sweet Peas and Lime Green Alchemilla Mollis
The tint Flower Girl Sadie's little Wrist Corsage of mini rose buds and Sweet peas
The Bride Groom's rather special Boutonniere featured a voluptuous Rose from David Austin called Juliet together with Rolled Rose Petals and Sweet Peas

We loved the handkerchief in the order of service a super cool idea
The super glam Groom's Mum complete with her very special Handbag Corsage

The adorable little Flower Girl Sadie with her Wrist Corsage of Roses and Sweet Peas

The most gorgeous little Page Boy Owen, he was such a pro all day he switched on that fabulous smile for everyone, his Boutonniere was designed as a mini version of the Groom's Mens Buttonholes
The Groom's Dad had a Miranda Rose again from David Austin

I pinned on all of the Groom's Men's Boutonniere's each one was unique but all made using the same palette of Roses as we used in the Bridal Bouquets
The totally lovely Becki & Chris we created wedding flowers for their splendid Afternoon Tea inspired Wedding back in 2011 here's a link to their fabulous day

Nicola's seriously handsome Bride Groom the lovely Nick, his Boutonniere looked splendid on his lapel

Ooh our Bride Nicola really did take everyone's breath away as she arrived at St Hilda's with her super proud Dad
Nicola really is a truly beautiful person ....
The Pastel shaded Bridal Bouquet of English Garden Roses, Peonies, Lily of the Valley, Astrantia, Sweet Peas, fresh Rosemary, Thalaspi and Gypsophilia

Fresh Rose Petal Confetti you just can't beat it!!xxx

Such a beautiful Bridal Bouquet in heavenly pastel shades

We left St Hilda's with a fully loaded van and headed off to Red Hall

Red Hall was the venue for the Wedding Reception
Inside the party room we'd dressed the tables with a combination of high and low table designs, our tall LSA vases topped with huge clouds of Gypsophilia created a feeling of volume and height
Ali from Party Essence had done a fabulous job of dressing the chairs and the table runners it really completed the look perfectly and she was a joy to work with on the day, really helpful a true professional
Posies of fresh flowers in vases on slices of trunk dressed with moss provided a lower alternative

Tall LSA Vase with a huge plume of Gypsophilia on top
A Bulb Crate ready for collecting cards we'd surrounded it with a garland of Gypsophilia and foliages
Clusters of Bottles and Jars filled with posies of fresh flowers were placed on pieces of wood and bark with mosses and wooden love heart sprinkles
The Top Table was version of our 'Walk in the Woods' design every time we make this it's different, I always include a vase for the Bride's Bouquet
A Birds Nest
Three little Bottles on a slate with Roses, Rosemary and Eucalyptus

Stacked up seed trays provided a bit of height on some of the tables and our vintage vessels filled with posies of flowers completed the design

The menu sounded delicious, I loved the informal presentation of the menu on a blackboard leaving the tables free for flowers!!xx

Scrumptious cake

I do love a bit of attention to detail and you just can't leave out the loos so pictures of our Bride & Groom as children helped us choose the right door!!!

Huge thanks to Nicola & Nick for choosing Flower Design Events to create their Wedding Flowers for them we had a blast!!!xxx
