Jen & Steven's "Black & White" Wedding Day With More Than Just a Hint of Pink at The Thistle Haydock
This was such a fabulous wedding day, I first met Jen & Steven ages and ages ago back in May 2011 when this wedding was simply a glint in Jen & Steven's eyes, a fabulous spike on the graph of the future, at that stage their ideas were just that, ideas, the wedding day world was their oyster, so much to choose from and so much time in which to do it, but even then Jen knew exactly what she wanted, I suspect she had dreamed of this day forever.......
Finally the great day had arrived and so had Jason with a delivery of Bridal Bouquets beautious enough to make any self respecting Bride's heart leap and flutter!!!
Our gorgeous Bride Jen was no exception and she loved her magnificent bouquet of Lily of the Valley, Sweet peas, Peonies, Roses, Zantedeschia and Bouvardia.
The Thistle at Haydock was the venue for both the Marriage Ceremony and the Wedding Breakfast and Reception, all was not as it may seem behind this facade was not only a contemporary hotel but in the central Courtyard a fabulous static Marquee (More of that later!)
Inside the scene was set for the marriage ceremony, with majestic silver pedestals topped with Delphiniums, Larkspur, Peonies & Roses framing the entrance to the Room
The Celebrants table was dressed with a collection of various sizes of Martini glasses each filled with a delicate posy of fresh flowers
To frame the actual ceremony two elegant giant martini vase designs stood on either side of the steps
The Chairs lining the aisle were dressed alternately with fragrant posies of Stocks, Peonies, Roses and Hydrangeas
Each of the guests chairs were dressed with a Sweet Akito Rose with Baby's Breath
Our handsome Bride Groom Steven with his Best Man, both were wearing rather special Boutonniere's
Steven's Groom's Boutonniere incorporated a sprig of fresh fragrant Rosemary, Rolled Rosita Vendella Rose Petals, a Crystal Blush Calla Lily, a floret of pink Hydrangea, the stem was bound in black satin ribbon and finished with a diamante heart buckle
Our beautiful Bride Jen made her way to the ceremony room followed by her Bridesmaids
Huge Congratulations to the brand new Mr & Mrs Crewe from all of the team here at Flower Design Events
Fresh & Fragrant Rose Petal Confetti
Jen's stunning Bridesmaids carried smaller simpler versions of the bridal bouquet in shades of pink and ivory with black satin handles
Jen's beautiful Mum with her ivory and pearl grey wrist corsage
Our completely beautiful Bride & Groom
Rose Petals were thrown
And love was definitely in the air!!!
The celebrations then moved inside the magnificent Marquee
The tables were dressed with a plethora of different heights and sizes of Martini vases each filled with a fabulous fresh flower design in complimenting pink and ivory Roses, Peonies, Ixia, Delphiniums, Roses and lots more loveliness besides
The Roses in the backs of the chairs were moved from the ceremony room to the marquee and looked completely gorgeous
The taller more elegant black Martini designs were placed on the tables in the tallest part of the marquee beneath the apex
Clusters of Martini and liquor glasses were arranged on the tables in lower parts of the marquee
At the base of each of the tall Martini's a tiny mini Martini glass filled with a mini posy of Peonies, Roses and Champagne grass dressing the table top perfectly
The Top table had an abundance of low Martini Glasses
The ginormous Cup Cake Tower was topped with a posy shaped miniature version of the bridal bouquet
Small detailed touches of fresh pink blooms brought together the look exquisitely
Our work here was done, huge thanks to the completely wonderful Bride & Groom, Jen & Steven, we're really going to miss you two!!!!! xxxxx
