Black & White Winter Wedding of Sara & John Morton at The Great Hall at Mains

The warm and cosy scene was set at The Great Hall complete with roaring fire and mulled wine mmm.... Flickering candles illuminated the ceremony space and created a romantic atmosphere
Our candle screen behind the cake glowed and the candleabra on the bar towered over the guests majestically

I really love this civil ceremony venue it has all of the magnificence of a Church. The Groom John wore a Phalaenopsis Orchid Boutonniere backed with some fresh fragrant Rosemary and seasonal spruce.

Sara's delightful little flower girl Imogen carried a magic wand dressed with Nerines and Phalaenopsis Orchids and good sprinkling of fairy dust.

Here come the girls... Michelle, Kathy & Nichola looking seriously slinky in their black gowns. Each of them carried an equally slinky bouquet of White Phalaenopsis Orchids, Eucalyptus, Ivy Berry, Spruce and Bear Grass.
The official photographer for the day was the very lovely Jason Lock, he really was a great pleasure to work with and I'm sure he'll have some fabulous shots.
