Fairtrade Wine Tasting & Flower Design Demonstration for Fylde Borough Council

Welcome to an evening of Fairtrade, Flowers, Food & Wine at The Lindum Hotel
Jason doing a tasting of Red Wine " Los Robles" Carmenere from Chile, £4.99, the room was awash with Fairtrade supporters and wine lovers!
Everyone without exception enjoyed this one, it's available from Booths in Lytham.

This is the extremely talented Janice Flynn, Janice has organised an evening of Musical entertainment, Janice will be singing along with The Frank Flynn Quartet at The Edge in Poulton, 18th March, The tickets are £5.00 and all proceeds will go to The Blackpool & Wyre Alzheimers Society, to book and I strongly reccommend you do call Janice or Frank on 882015.
I really loved this particular design, it reminded me of a birds eye view of "Fairtrade" farmers fields, I've used some Viburnum Opulus, Paper Whites, Arabicum and mosses.

Jane/Jason,

Firstly can I sincerely thank you both for your time and effort in making last night such a fantastic success for Fairtrade. Your excellent banter lightened the proceeding and certainly had people laughing, which is great. Your expertise and knowledge in your subject base is magnificent and your love of flowers and wine shows. Long may you continue to lighten peoples lives by providing such wonderful entertainment.

Anyway, once again a big thank you from me and I know I speak on behalf of the Glyn and the Fairtrade Steering group, a big thank you from them!!!

Thank you Jane and Jason for a fabulous evening.

You have now officially gone up in the stratosphere Jane and are now a MEGA STAR!

The ladies of Poulton-le-Fylde and beyond ( Pilling that is. In fact the back of beyond!) had a wonderful time.

Our only negative comment was that the tickets were too cheap!

I was fortunate enough to win 4th prize in the raffle and even if my ticket had been drawn first the same display would have been my 1st choice!

I was then inspired to hold a champagne cocktail evening in honour of my mum who had recently turned 70. As she has not been well we weren’t able to celebrate on her actual birthday.

Your creation not only matched my theme for the evening but also went beautifully in my lounge along with several other pieces of LSA glassware!

Janet Fenton

Will call in with the memory card of snaps of the evening.

Janet
