Marsala Wine & Woodland Romance For Caroline & Steven's Browsholme Hall & Tithe Barn Wedding Day

This Browsholme Hall wedding has been such a huge joy and privilege to design and create wonderful wedding flowers for, we have all thoroughly enjoyed our meetings with Caroline, Steven, Gillian and the fabulous Bride's Mum.
~
Our Bride and Groom had created the most beautiful Mood Board for us, a celebration of the autumn season with more than a nod to our Lancashire countryside and traditions. A woodland and rustic theme prevailed. Strong and bold shades of Marsala Wine teamed with natural buff and brown tones brought the season to life, the addition of candlelight created a super romantic atmosphere.

Inspired by the joyous Mood Board and our in depth discussions we invited Caroline & Steven back to Flower Design HQ to view a collection of fresh Bridal designs we'd created just for them.
~
We'd made an exquisite sample bridal bouquet, I'd included Black Baccara Roses alongside nude shaded Mentha, & Silver Lace Roses with Dahlias, Calla Lilies, Snowberry, Rosehips, Eucalyptus berries, Ivy Berries, Hydrangeas and a collection of Autumn Herbs and foliages

We'd made a sample Boutonniere for Steven to compliment his Bride's Bouquet
We'd created some sample Ceremony & Table designs too.
Our Enchanted Tree design

A miniature version of our Enchanted Tree dressed with Caroline's hand crocheted hearts

Suggestions for the Registrars and Top Table design too were created
At long last the big day arrived and Chloe & I presented the Bridal Bouquets to our Bride and her Bridesmaids in the Bridal Cottage next door to Browsholme Hall's Tithe Barn
Caroline's exquisitely Autumnal wedding bouquet featured Black Baccara Roses alongside nude shaded Mentha, & Silver Lace Roses with Dahlias, Calla Lilies, SnowberryRosehips, Eucalyptus berries, Ivy Berries, Hydrangeas, Winter flowering Jasmine, Succulents and a collection of Autumn Herbs and foliages
The Bridesmaid's Posies were created as smaller versions of the Bridal Bouquet and included some glorious ivory Ranunculus

I showed the beautiful Bridal party how to carry their bouquets perfectly
The bouquets matched the Marsala Wine Bridesmaids Gowns perfectly
Gillian looked beautiful and carried her bouquet pefectly

The lovely Liz

I pinned on the Bride's Mum's corsage to ensure it was positioned perfectly, we designed it to compliment her neutral coloured dress and jacket and to match the Bride's Bouquet

The terrific award winning Make Up Artist Sonara Parker was doing a beautiful job on the beautiful faces of the bridal party

Next door at Browsholme Hall's Tithe Barn the guests were beginning to arrive

The Bride Groom and his Groom's Men arrived in the Groom's rather gorgeous vintage yellow Mini

The Bride Groom's boutonniere designed to compliment his tweed jacket and 'Marsala Wine' tie
The Groom's Men's Boutonnieres were all unique each one created from the same flower palette as the Bridal bouquets
The Page Boys mini Boutonniere
We'd bound the stem of the Groom's Boutonniere with jute
Our Bride Groom Steven looked super handsome his boutonniere complimented his 'country gent' look perfectly
Chloe had included some nut brown Quercus Leaves to match the Groom's brown tweed suit, she'd teamed that with a Black Bacarra Rose, Rose Hips, Skimmia & Snow Berries and Classic Hydrange florets, some rolled Mentha Rose petals the design was framed with Eucalyptus leaves and finished with jute string binding.

We pinned on all of the Groom's Men's Boutonnieres ensuring each one was positioned perfectly

The Bride Groom's lovely Mum Marion was wearing a midnight blue ensemble, we created her corsage to tie in her blue coloured jacket with her son's butonniere

Inside the Tithe Barn the scene was set for the marriage ceremony, which was to be a 'Humanist service'
We'd dressed the aisle with candle lit Brampton Lanterns set on tree stumps with blonde pumpkins, Crab Apples, Succulents and fresh fragrant Rose Petals, each lantern was decorated with one of Caroline's hearts
The windowsills and niches were all filled with a plethora of candles

The Registrars table featured a candelabra for the 'Unity Candle' part of the Humanist ceremony, two of our Enchanted Trees framed the ceremony space beautifully
Collections of fresh flowers, Succulents, Crab Apples and Pumpkins decorated the Registrars table so elegantly and a sprinkling of fresh fragrant Rose petals completed the design

The Unity Candle, during the ceremony, both Mum's lit a candle each and then the bride and groom illuminated the middle candle with the candles their Mum's had lit.
Our Enchanted Trees stood on tall pedestals creating a beautiful backdrop to the ceremony
The trees were illuminated with candlelit glass orbs hanging from the branches

Caroline's 'woolly hearts' looked great hanging from the branches of the tree

The Wedding Cake looked spectacular, the three tier 'Rough Iced' cake was stood on a large tree stump, each tier was decorated with a fresh cake corsage and a fabulous fresh flower cake topper

Chloe and I nipped over to the Bridal Cottage to hand over the bouquets as the Bridal party left for the ceremony.
Caroline looked stunning in her gorgeous Enzoani gown from Emma Hartley in Colne
