The English Country Garden Wedding of Jessica & Nicholas at St Michael's Church and The Inn at Whitewell Featuring Some Beautiful Images from Tim Simpson Photography

This was such a special wedding and I can't begin to say how much we enjoyed not only the making of these heavenly wedding flowers but also getting to know the fabulous Bride Jessica who has sublime taste and was an absolute joy to look after.
We are hugely grateful to Tim Simpson Photography for many of the images he's provided for this posting
~
These snaps were taken of Jessica's sample Bridal Bouquet, it was made a couple of months before the wedding and included an eclectic collection of garden flowers.

We put together a collection of ideas in our studio for Jessica to see and make some decisions about
Jessica's Mood Board was brilliant and really helped us to come up with some fabulous creations
On the big day I had the great privilege of presenting our Bride with her Bridal Bouquet in one of the lovely suites at The Inn at Whitewell
I showed Jessica how to carry her bouquet

I pinned Jessica's Mum's corsage to her jacket where it looked absolutely perfect

A corsage of rolled Rose Petals, Freesia, silver grey Albiflora, Senecio and pale lilac Oregano with Thalaspi and Ivy leaves

Next door at St Michael's Church we'd dressed the Lytch Gate with a rambling garland of fresh flowers and foliages and one of our Floral Hearts on the small gate
The Vibrant Floral Heart looked perfect on the gate
These stunning images are of course courtesy of the brilliant Tim Simpson Photography

Stacks of crates topped with fresh flowers and lanterns framed the front door to Church beautifully
Love this Rose 'Beatrice' from David Austin

Fresh Hops decorated the two benches in the Church porch

Vases of fresh flowers dressed the windowsills in Church

English Garden flowers were arranged to create magnificent pedestals framing the ceremony space, the lovely Elsie was filling in all of the paper work
We used Delphiniums, Craspedia, Dill, Peonies, Stocks, English Garden Roses, Hydrangeas and Blackberries in these lovely designs
Posies of fresh flowers in jam jars were hanging from the ends of each alternate pew

The font at the foot of the aisle looked wonderful wearing a crown of fresh garden blooms

I prepared the boutonnieres and corsages ready to pin them on, a beautiful corsage in royal blue shades
The Bride Groom's Boutonniere featured a Darcey Rose clustered with Bumblebee Orchids, Blackberries, Rosemary and Nigella

The celebrations moved next door to the Orangery at the brilliant The Inn at Whitewell

We'd dressed the long dining table with two of our Verdi Gris Candelabras and a whole host of detailed garden style designs

Secret garden style urns were filled to overflowing with fresh flowers

Our work here was done it was time to leave the party in full swing, huge thanks to Jessica and Nick for choosing Flower Design to create their wedding flowers for them.
