Lucy & Graeme's Lilac & Silver Grey Wedding Day at St Joseph's Mossley & The White Hart Inn Lydgate

This was always going to be a magical wedding day, we've known the Godfrey family for years, and what a joy and huge pleasure it always is to create wedding flowers for them, Jen & Rob Lucy's parents are super brilliant and I am really going to miss our regular meetings.
Jason & I were presenting the bouquets at the family home in the middle of the Saddleworth countryside, we had to abandon our huge van (There was no way it was going to get down their lane) and Rob came to collect us and the bouquets in his more suitable vehicle.
When we arrived the girls were in the conservatory having their hair and make up done by KS Hair & Christina Louise Mua a very excited Bride to be greeted us...

Lucy's Wedding Bouquet was a heavenly combination of Peonies, Lilac, Roses, Sweet Peas, Lily of the Valley, Albiflora, Eucalyptus and Senecio
I showed Lucy, Nichola, Rachel, Lucy & Becky how to carry their wedding bouquets perfectly

We were lucky enough to have created the flowers for Lucy's brother's wedding, the lovely Lucy was a Bridesmaid then so she was a bit of a pro at carrying FD Bridal Bouquets.

We pinned on Father of the Bride, Rob's boutonniere
Rob is a bit of a legend!!!xx
Jason pinned on Bride's Mum Jen's Corsage it matched her coat perfectly
Bride's Mum's corsage of silver Lace Roses, with Mentha Rolled rose petals and Wax Flower blossom
Rob delivered us back to our van and we headed off to St Joseph's in Mossley, the weather was to say the least changeable we enjoyed sunshine, torrential rain, snow, sleet, hail stone, thunder & lightening and that was just in the first hour...
The Church was framed by two of our fragrant Bay trees dressed with Gypsohilia and Roses and some of our candlelit lanterns
Just inside the porch two of our magnificent pedestals welcomed the guests as they arrived at this seriously welcoming Church Father Michael looked after us and was so hospitable many thanks to him
Pew end posies of Lavender , Eucalyptus and Gypsophilia, lined the aisle leading up to the Altar which was framed by two magnificent pedestals
Pedestals of Spirea, Roses, Sweet peas, Peonies, Hydrageas, Freesia, Stocks, Antirhinnums and foliages

The super handsome Bride Groom Graeme was first to have his Boutonniere pinned to his lapel
The Boutonniere's included a little surprise from the lovely Lucy, Manchester United lapel pins were included in them all, except for Ben who was unfortunate enough to be wearing a Manchester City one in his Boutonniere.
All of the Gentlemen's suits were from Slater's Mens Wear
