Soft Blush & Ivory for Sophie & Dan's Lancaster Priory & Mitton Hall Wedding Day
We just loved these two, Sophie & Dan are quite simply gorgeous, we've had some fabulous appointments with them and we couldn't wait for their big day it was always going to be stupendous!!!!xxx
So way back, Sophie & Dan brought in their beautiful Mood Board it included all of the vital information required to create a stunning set of sample designs. The Mood Board can be in any format though proper card versions are our favourite and the size doesn't matter at all, some of the best ones are quite small. Sophie provided a bag full of fabric from her Bridesmaids gowns, the colour was a sort of bush with a slight hint of peach to it so it was essential to have enough of it to understand the colour thoroughly. Images of the Bridal gown and the Grooms suit with tie information were also provided, a sample of the Wedding Stationery was also on there as were, table and chair linen samples, Mum's outfits and anything else that they thought relevant, they also had a good few images of flowers and designs that they wanted us to include.
Sophie's sample Bridal Bouquet was just perfect the colours were delicate, the blooms perfect, I'd included fresh fragrant Lily of the Valley, Peonies 'Angel Cheeks' and 'Duchesse de Nemoy'. 4 Good, Keira & Bombastic & White O'Hara Garden Roses with Sweet Peas and Hydrangeas
We'd made Daniel a sample Boutonniere to match Sophie's bouquet, we include Lily of the Valley & an English Garden Rose
At long last the big day arrived and Jason had the great pleasure of presenting Sophie with her gorgeous Bouquet, he showed everyone how to carry their Bouquets and pinned on Mum & Dad's Boutonniere & Corsage

This was an early wedding so Jason was all set up and ready at Lancaster Priory by 10:30am
Inside this gloriously iconic Priory, posies of fresh flowers were dressing each alternate pew end lining the aisle, at the head of the aisle to magnificent pedestals framed the ceremony perfectly
The Pedestals looked luscious with trails of fresh passion Flower, trailing Amaranthus, Hydrangeas, Dahlias, Roses, Stocks and Asparagus creating a magnificent display
Posies of Dahlias, Roses, Sweet peas and Dahlias dressed the pews
The fabulous folks from Classic Ensembles were providing the lovely tunes
A Keira & 4 Good Rose with fresh Lily of the Valley Boutonniere
The Groom's Men's Boutonnieres were all white and included White Sweet Peas a Norma Jean Rose and Hydrangea Florets
Jason pinned on all of the Boutonnieres and Corsages ensuring each one was perfectly positioned

The celebrations then moved on to the magical surroundings of Mitton Hall, where the tables were dressed with a combination of table designs

Tall elegant designer vases topped with floral magnificence and trailing Passion Flower
One of our Enchanted Trees acted as a 'Wishing Tree' with guests invited to write messages on tags then tie them to the tree
The Five Tier Cake was topped with a Floral miniature of the Bridal Bouquet

Along the length of the top table posies of fresh flowers and silver candlesticks were set on a row of mirrors
Our work here was completed it was time to leave the party in full swing, huge thanks to Daniel, Sophie and their lovely families for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers for them.
