Mega Wedding, Jess & Dicky's Truly Spectacular Epic Wedding Day at St Annes Woodplumpton and in a Marquee at Home

We first met up with the truly fabulous Jess & Dicky way back last year , they'd been recommended to us by the totally ace James Jebson their very splendid photographer. After lengthy discussions about colour and design, lots of laughter, I came clean about my dreams of 'Milking cows', Jess came clean about her love of Peonies, we decided to meet up again in April to see their mood board. A further date was booked in for us to create sample designs for them in May ready for their July Wedding.
These two are super busy so it was essential to 'nail it' quickly, thankfully Jess's brief was clear, her mood board fantastic and their budget was a perfect fit.
~
Jess loved the Peonies in her trial wedding bouquet which were in a myriad of shades of pink, a huge bosom of Peonies was created with heavenly English Garden Roses and a touch of sweet scented Sweet Peas for delicacy and lightness
Two tall sample table design ideas were also put together but a decision was made to leave out the orchids and concentrate on the Peonies, Roses and Hydrangeas for both our tall table vase and Baroque candelabra
Dicky's Boutonniere of a Patience Rose with Senecio and a game bird feather was also created as a sample

Eventually the big day arrived, quite possibly the very hottest day of 2015, I had the enormous pleasure of presenting our beautiful Bride with her Wedding Bouquet
Jess and her gorgeous Mum loved it, the fragrance was so lovely

I showed everyone how to carry their Bouquets perfectly, before heading off to the Church, St Annes at Woodplumpton

We were so grateful for the shade provided by the tree canopy and the Lytch Gate roof for this sumptuous garland of Peonies, Roses, Stocks, Larkspur, Hydrangeas, trailing Amaranthus and Sweet Peas that surrounded the Lytch Gate

This really did provide a fragranced welcome for the guests as they arrived

Inside this beautiful Church we'd placed four huge and relaxed pedestal designs, framing the Altar and choir stalls beautifully
Pedestal Designs of Delphiniums, Larkspur, Roses, Peonies, Stocks and Hydrangeas, filled the church with heady fragrance
Posies of Sweet Peas, Roses, Peonies, Astilbe & Hydrangeas dressed each alternate Pew End lining the aisle
Each posy was unique and individual but all were fragrant and beautiful
The Altar was framed by two of our magnificent Pedestal designs

The Boys arrived in style, in time for me to pin on their Boutonnieres

The totally brilliant Gospel Choir entertained everyone spectacularly
Jess's super handsome Bride Groom Dicky was first to have his 'Patience' Rose Boutonniere pinned in place
Each of the Groom's men were wearing a Rose to match their pocket squares

The Bride Groom's super proud parents

Two simply dressed and fragrant Bay Trees framed the front door

The adorable little Flower Girls were next to arrive
Followed by the super glam Bride's Mum

The Flower Girl's were both wearing floral crowns of fresh Gypsophilia and carried little Dolly Bags filled with fresh Rose Petals for them to scatter up the aisle ahead of our beautiful Bride

The Bridesmaid's were each dressed in a unique pastel shade, they all carried Bridesmaid's Bouquet of Peonies, English Garden Roses and Sweet Peas to match, I loved this pale lemon Peony Bouquet
The Bridesmaid wearing the Pale Lavender Gown carried a Bouquet of Ivory Peonies and Lavender Roses and Sweet Peas
All of the Bridesmaids were wearing fresh Gypsophilia in their hair
The Beautiful Bridesmaid in the pale nude gown carried a Bouquet of nude Roses, peonies and Sweet peas

The gorgeous Bridesmaid with the pale gown, carried a Bouquet of Green Tea Roses, Pale Mint Green Hydrangeas with White Peonies, Sweet peas & English Garden Roses

The Bridesmaids all looked heavenly

Huge & Ginormous Congratulations to this gorgeous pair from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

Jason left via the back door with the huge pedestal designs and we hot footed up to the marquee ahead of the guests

The huge marquee was by Mahood Marquees and was split into three sections, Bar, Dining & Nightclub Dance Floor
Our Fabulous Floral Seating Plan Frame greeted the guests on their arrival, we'd created a luscious frame of Peonies, Roses, Hydrangeas, Sweet Peas, Bridal Gladioli, Love in the Mist and Astilbe
Inside this vast Marquee the tables were dressed with a combination of designs some of the tables were dressed with our huge tall table vases whilst others were decorated with our Baroque Candelabras
The tall column table vases were topped with floral magnificence and had fresh flowers arranged in the base
The Top Table was an oval design and we'd dressed it with a collection of low column shaped vases each one filled with a posy of fresh flowers, candle sticks completed the look

Catering was provided by the great folks from Rowleys Catering
