Christmas, Reindeers & Beetroot Red For Catherine & Daniel's Spectacularly Festive Wedding Day at Samlesbury Hall

We have been looking forward to this beautiful wedding for absolutely ages and ages,  we have loved working with this wonderful family, we've had some brilliantly creative meetings.
 I was overjoyed to have the privilege of presenting our beautiful Bride Catherine and her lovely Mum Norma with the Bridal Bouquets
The Big Reveal...

The Bridal Bouquets were a festive feast for the eyes a plethora of rich vibrant colour, with all of the textures of the season harmoniously gathered and celebrated
We did the all important Flower Design Events Bridal Bouquet carrying lesson
We were joined by gorgeous Bridesmaids...
...and even more Bridesmaids....

This heavenly Christmas Wedding Bouquet in shades of Deep Claret, Beetroot Red, Ivory, Greens and Vintage Pinks it included a magical collection of seasonal heavenliness; Fresh Mistletoe, Holly Berries, Christmas Roses, Blue Spruce, Pine,  Succulents, Albiflora, Fir Cones, Skimmia, English Roses Darcey, Love in the Mist Seed Heads, Eucalyptus and Hydrangeas


I pinned on the lovely Ken's rather special Boutonniere (I think Ken is one of our favourite Bride's Dad's ever, he's a bit of a legend!!!)

We used a Quicksand and a 4Good Rose with fresh Spruce, Holly Berries and a tiny Fir cone in this seasonal Boutonniere
The Bride's Mum's wrist Corsage of Rolled Darcey Rose Petals, 4Good Rose Buds, Classic Hydrangeas, Astrantia, Black Berries and sparkle
The Ceremony and Reception were at the spectacularly atmospheric Samlesbury Hall
A warm welcome awaited the guests with the front door dressed with one of our luscious Christmas Welcome Rings on the Front Door which was framed by Christmas Box Trees and our Lantern Trees, lots of our lanterns framed the door and lined the path way leading to the car park
A Christmas Welcome Ring of Fresh Spruces, Skimmia Berries, Ruby Red Ilex Berries, fresh Hydrangeas
Candlelit Lanterns dressed with natural hessian and satin bows
A totally traditional Christmas tree greeted everyone in the entrance hall
Inside the Whittaker Room the scene was set for the ceremony
All of the window ledges and sills were dressed with rustic posies in a collection of wintery rustic vessels

We Dressed Salmesbury Hall's own floor standing Candelabras with fresh seasonal foliages and berries

The Registrars tables were both decorated with some fabulously rustic bottles, jars and vessels filled with all sorts of seasonal loveliness


On the ledge just behind the Registrars Tables we laid a magnificent garland of fresh Spruces, Apples, Berries and Fir Cones

Ruby lined up all of the fresh and individual Boutonnieres on the windowsill ready for us to pin them on the Groom and his entourage as they arrived
Our Bride Groom's Festive Boutonniere featured a Darcey Rose with Rolled Quicksand & Memory Lane Rose Petals, 4Good Rose Buds, Ilex and Viburnum Berries with Spruces and tiny Fir Cone bound and tied with natural jute

  
The Best Man Ian's Boutonniere included a Black Baccara Rose a 'Christmas Rose' aka Helebore, Albiflora, Skimmia, Spruce and a mini fir cone

Ruby and I headed off to The Bridal Lodge so that we could hand Bouquets to the Bridal Party as they left for the Ceremony...

Our Bride was first out and her gown looked simply stunning
The Flower Girls looked utterly adorable, we'd created mini 'Nosegays' for these lovely little princesses

The Beautiful Bridesmaids were wearing 'Beetroot Red' gowns which looked so rich and festive, the bouquets complimented the shade perfectly

Our Bride had fresh Gypsophilia in her Hair to complete her lacey look perfectly




I was stood on the stairs with the Bride's Dad's camera I hope I got some good pictures for him and our Ruby was capturing the flower magic for us just by the entrance to the ceremony room


We'd hung a big bundle of fresh Mistletoe half way up the aisle and our Bride's Dad kissed his beautiful daughter just beneath it as they headed up the aisle

Our fabulosu Bride Groom Daniel captured the 'Kiss under the Mistletoe' on the way out, what a guy!!!!xxxxx











A Reindeer theme for the seating plan, each table was named after Santa's Reindeers

In the Great Hall we'd dressed the magnificent Chandelier with a garland of fresh foliages and Holly Berrie with another big bundle of Mistletoe which the Bride's Mum & Dad couldn't resist!!!xxxxx

The Samlesbury Hall Canapes looked delicious
Yorkshire Puddings with Roast Beef and Horesradish yummy!!xx
The Tables in the Great Hall were dressed with our magnificent 'Enchanted Trees' all given a winter treatment, dressed with Spruce & Fir Cones, Candlelit Orbs and glass bottle filled with posies of fresh Roses and Berries
Around the base and on the table tops a glorious array of wintery woodland goodies and tea light votives and fresh flowers in rustic vessels



The Top Table was dressed with a magnificent Evergreen garland weaving through a collection of Winter Woodland materials and candlelit votives and candlesticks, set on hessian and bark and drift wood





Seed Trays stacked and dressed with Fir Cones, hessian and posies in a variety of vessels

The magnificent Chandelier in the Great Hall at Samlesbury Hall dressed with a garland of fresh fragrant foliages and riche seasonal Holly with Berries and Fir Cones, in the centre we'd hung a bundle of fresh Mistletoe

The Bride's Dad had made the wonderful Wedding Cake made with heaps and heaps of love...















We have absolutely loved working with the totally fabulous Catherine & Daniel and both of their lovely families, massive and ginormous thanks to them all for choosing Flower Design to create their Wedding Flowers for them!!!xxxx
