Chris & Helen's Super Glamorous Wedding at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church in Carnforth & Lowood Bay Hotel

This was such an elegant and glamorous wedding, simple elegant shades, glorious blooms and classic designs a perfect recipe for a truly beautiful wedding.
Ruby & Mike headed out very early for this 11am wedding, we love an early wedding to keep us on our toes, so by 7:30am our intrepid wedding team were already on their way.
First job was to present the Bouquets, a heavenly collection of Nudey shell pink Roses, Peonies, Sweet Peas and a fresh Gypsophilia
The Bride's Mum's Handbag was dressed with fresh flowers in shades to compliment her hyacinth blue ensemble
Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church in Carnforth was the venue for the Wedding Ceremony
Our Candlelit Lanterns were dressed with lace and Pearls and framed the front door
Inside the Church two of our Baroque Candelabras stood like "Guardian Angels" on pedestal stands on either side of the ceremony space
The Candelabras were dressed with Peonies, Roses, Hydrangeas and Gypsophilia with strings of pearls hanging from the branches

Posies of Peonies, Roses, Hydrangeas and Gypsophilia dressed the end of each pew

Glass Jam Jars filled with Posies of fresh flowers dressed the Pew Ends perfectly

The Groom's Mum's lovely Black & White Hand Bag Corsage

Ruby Lined up the Boutonnieres and Corsages ready to pin them on to the Groom's Men and Special Guests, Each Boutonniere was slightly different but all included Roses, Sweet Peas and Floribunda Roses in varying shades of Shell Pink, Nude and Ivory

Inside Church the great folks from Classic Ensembles were playing beautifully

Our super handsome Bride Groom Chris looking seriously dapper was wearing a rather special Boutonniere featuring an Akito Rose with a collection of rolled Rose Petals a Bombastic Rose with a floret of Hydrangea, the stem was bound with silver bullion
Ruby pinned on all of the Groom's Men's Boutonnieres

The Bride's fabulous Mum complete with Florally dressed Hand Bag

Helen's beautiful Bridesmaids were wearing Two Birds Gowns in a nude shade, their Bouquets of Peonies, Roses and Sweet Peas complimented their gowns perfectly

Huge Congratulations to Helen & Chris from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

Helen carried her own Bouquet of Brooches
Our Team hit the Road heading towards Windermere
The Reception was at the wonderful Low Wood Bay Hotel a fabulous venue with spectacular views over Windermere

Inside this majestic hotel we'd dressed the room with a combination of high and low table designs
Our fabulous Baroque Candelabras took pride of place on the tables providing the tall elegant high designs

The Top Table design was our lovely "Crystal Table Design"
A collection of crystal vases, vessels and candlesticks set on a row of reflective mirrors with posies of fresh flowers with crystal candlesticks in between

Posies of fresh Peonies, Roses and Hydrangeas with smaller posies were one of the lower table designs
The simple yet elegant wedding cake dressed with a corsage of fresh flowers

Hurricane Lamps with posies of fresh Peonies and Roses on a lace covered mirror

Huge thanks to Helen & Chris for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers

Gorgeous wedding! I've never heard of hand bag corsages though. Is that a common style in the UK?
