Impressionist Shades & Watercolour Tones for Richard & Linda's Summer Wedding at Marbury Church & Wrenbury Hall

Richard & Linda have been the most wonderful Bride & Groom to work with, we first met them way back in 2011 when we were lucky enough to create wedding flowers for Richard's fabulous sister Nicola & her hubby Martin who were married at Monk Fryston Hall in Leeds (Link).
Since then we've met up at FD HQ and also here at Wrenbury Hall, we've plotted and planned, we've created Mood Boards (Anyone who has visited my office in the last few months hasn't failed to notice Linda & Richard's huge Mood Board it nearly needed an office of it's own) and we've made up sample designs, these two had such a clear colour scheme for us to work with and on the day it was wonderful to see it brought to life so magnificently.

The Big Day had finally arrived Berto & I headed off to deepest Cheshire at the crack of dawn arriving at Wrenbury nice and early, our beautiful Bride and her lovely Bridesmaids were all getting ready in one of the suites at Wrenbury Hall the venue for the Wedding Reception

We stole our Bride away from the very understanding hairdresser so that we could present the Bridal Bouquets properly in keeping with Flower Design Events tradition...

The wedding bouquet carrying lesson went very well
Linda with a half hair do and no make up managed to look blissful and her PJ's matched her bouquet almost as perfectly as her magnificent Wedding Gown
I included a glorious array of English Country Garden Blooms, Grasses and Herbs in this pastel Bridal Bouquet, so many sweet scented floral jewels; Lily of the Valley, English Garden Roses, Peonies, Sweet Peas, fresh Lavender, Oregano, Peppermint, Chamomile, Freesia alongside Delphiniums, Oncidium Orchids, Blackberries, Phlox, Dahlias, Scabious, Craspedia, Veronica, Cornflowers, Lilac and Viburnum Opulus
Even a colour co-ordinated pedicure...
I pinned a precious brooch to the lace semi-covered handle of the Bridal Bouquet it included a blue stone for Linda's something blue

Berto and I tracked down St Michael and All Angels, Church easily, a truly beautiful Church on the shores of Marbury Big Mere

This is an ancient Church dating back to the 15th Century, Jason and I visited it along with Linda and Richard a few months ago, it was glorious to see it bathed in sunshine and all of the flowers out in the very well kept grounds surrounding it

We dressed the front gate with a "Welcome Ring" of fresh flowers

We placed posies of hand gathered blooms in "Jam Jar" style vases on the simple benches under the Lytch Gate

I adore Poppies

Beautiful Church Blooms arranged in the porch...
Inside this magnificent Church we arranged posies of fresh flowers on each alternate pew end and two voluptuous Candelabaras

The Pew End Posies included Astilbe, Scabious, Chamomile, Craspedia, Veronica, Phlox, Dahlias, Roses and fragrant Lavender

When we visited Holland a few weeks ago we discovered these glorious "Watercoloured" Magical Hydrangeas, as soon as Josie & I spotted them we knew they would be perfect for this wedding...

I lined up the "Wild" style Boutonnieres and Corsages ready to pin them on to the all important wedding guests
The Bride Groom's Boutonniere featured a "Beidermeier" Rose, fresh Blackberries, Brodea and sweet scented Lavender

A basket of sweet scented English Rose Petals were ready for the celebrations
Keira Rose Petal Confetti

Marbury Big Mere
Berto my right hand man (Some might say my muscle) on this lovely wedding, every wedding we do is a huge team effort, we are very lucky to have such a wonderful group of people around us
Our handsome Bride Groom the lovely Richard was first to have his rather special Boutonniere pinned to his lapel

Loving the Hugo Boss cuff links

Love the Dahlia Boutonniere

The Hydrangea Florets matched the ties so perfectly
The Mother of the Groom Anne was wearing a lovely "Un-wired" corsage of Cornflowers, Brodea and Hydrangea Florets to match her royal blue ensemble

The lovely Mother of the Bide Jennifer, wearing an"Un-Wired" Corsage to compliment her outfit
The lovely Martin a Flower Design Bride Groom
The fabulous Nicola & Martin, so lovely to catch up with old friends
The Bridesmaids Bouquets were all slightly different and were created as smaller versions of the Bridal Bouquet

The Bridesmaids were wearing "Jenny Packham" Bridesmaid's gowns in a "Aquamarine" shade

Pastel Bridal Bouquets to tone with aquamarine gowns
These Bridesmaids really were a bevvy of beauty ....

Our beautiful Bride arrived in style...

Our Bride looked breathtaking...
