"Everything Stops for Tea" at Sophie & Nick's Wedding at Dalton St Mary's Church & The Swan at Newby Bridge

Our intrepid wedding duo Ruby & Mike were on the road by 7:30am last Saturday heading North arriving at The Swan at Newby Bridge before anyone else to present our beautiful Bride Sophie with her luscious Summer Wedding Bouquets

I included a heavenly collection of English Country Garden Blooms; Sweet Peas, Peonies, Forget Me Nots, Dille, Astrantia, Thalaspi, Champagne Grasses and English Garden Roses from David Austin's famous Nursery

The all important and totally traditional Flower Design Events Wedding Bouquet carrying lesson and of course Sophie was an absolute natural

Our indomitable pair then headed off to the stunning Church of Dalton St Mary a lovely Church well worth a visit; immaculate gardens with a few surprises but more of that later and huge beautifully kept interior

Ruby & Mike dressed alternate pews with posies of fresh blooms in glass jam jars

Posies of fresh Hydrangea "You & Me Together" Roses, Dill, Champagne Grasses and Thalaspi

They laid out all of the boutonnieres and Corsages ready to pin them on to the all important guests

The Bride Groom's Boutonniere included a beautiful English Garden Rose "Juliet" with fresh Sweet Peas, Forget Me Not and Viburnum Opulus

The Groom's Mum's Corsage of Rolled Norma Jean Rose Petals, Hydrangea Florest, Astrantia and a touch of Diamante sparkle

So there were some rather unusual guests at this wedding a collection of eclectic Scarecrows all designed to represent particular charities and with matching collection buckets, what a great idea eh!! they did cause a little confusion for some short sighted guests!!! lolxxx

The Beautiful Bridesmaids were next to arrive they all looked wonderful in their pale green gowns

The Bridesmaids Bouquets were created in glorious technicolour and included a myriad of Summer loveliness; Sweet Peas, Peonies, English Garden Roses, Forget me Nots to name but a few

The very beautiful Bride's Mum complete with her ivory and cream corsage

Each Bridesmaid's Bouquet was slightly different creating a natural and bespoke feel to them

Our gorgeous Bride and her super proud Dad arrived in style

So, so beautiful Sophie!!!

And those flowers did smell heavenly......

We always love it when we meet up with our Flower Design Brides and Groom's at Weddings here's the lovely Leanne and Joel they were married at The Inn at Whitewell a couple of years ago and Sophie was a Bridesmaid for them too (Link)
