A Tale of Miracles & Roses in The English Lake District for Abi & Adam's Fabulous Wedding at Holy Trinity Langdale & The Daffodil Hotel

An archway of fresh flowers over the front door of Holy Trinity Church at Langdale was Jason's very first miracle of the day, it is there by the grace of God and possibly some "Flower Fairy Magic" this wedding was an absolute joy to do but was booked quite late, time permitting, we always visit Churches & venues we haven't dressed before, a reconnaissance mission you might say to ascertain permission to fix and the possibility of fixing, time didn't allow so permission was granted over the phone, the possibility however was left until the day (Both Bride & Groom assured us it had been done before, I now know this was at another Church just down the Road).
So with only three hours to go before the wedding, Jason arrived at Holy Trinity, The Daffodil Hotel was all dressed, the Bride & her Maids had their bouquets so only the small task of attaching an arch to what can only be described as the "North Face of The Eiger" was left (No Phone coverage so no chance of back up) after a lot of "Chin holding" and "Head scratching" the beginnings of an idea, a very cunning plan was formulating, not, I might mention a conventional plan as our mantra is not to deface or damage any property that isn't ours: Jason dismantled the ply lining in the back of our van, removed and dismembered the shelving unit and created a frame, using the gaps between the slices of slate he fixed this arch and prayed for there to be no wind!!!!!
At the very least our hero was in the most beautiful scenery on earth

Adam the super handsome Groom with his very lovely Mum stood under our arch for photographs!
Adam was wearing a lovely Boutonniere of Roses & Rosemary
The Groom's Mum carried a handbag dressed with Roses and Rolled Rose Petals in shades to compliment her ensemble
Inside simply elegant Pedestal designs of Roses, Hydrangeas and fragrant Dille framed the ceremony space perfectly
On the end of each alternate Pew a fragrant Posy of Roses, Dill and foliage was placed

The Bridesmaids arrived looking totally gorgeous carrying simple but beautiful bouquets of Akito & Gracia Creme Roses

Our Bride's Gorgeous Mum had her Handbag Dressed with Roses

The fabulous Photographer for the day was Liam Crawley from CG Wedding Photography

Our Bride looked completely breathtaking when she arrived at Church

Massive Congratulations to Abi & Adam from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

Abi's beautiful wedding bouquet of cream Vendella Roses looked heavenly!
So everyone made their way down the Hill to the car park whilst Jason dismantled the Arch and thanked the powers that be for it remaining up there for the duration, now for Jason's 2nd miracle of the day the Bride's Mum asked for it to be put back for some extra photographs, Jason really has the patience of a Saint and just did as he was asked!!!!!

The Celebrations moved to The Daffodil Hotel in Grasmere
The magnificent Cake was dressed with a plethora of cream and ivory Roses
The tables were dressed with candelabras dressed with a collection of fresh Cream & Ivory Roses

The Church pedestals looked magnificent framing the huge picture window overlooking the lake
