Vintage Wedding Flowers at Ashton Memorial, Williamson Park, Lancaster

Ashton Memorial is such a spectacular venue, perched on the top of the hill in Williamson Park, you can see it from the M6 as you drive past Lancaster on the way up to The Lake District, it' s such an iconic landmark, that it's hard to believe that you can actually get married there, so high up in the clouds!

The registrars table design was so light and delicate in direct contrast to the surroundings, the masculine desk and huge marble interior I used a series of small frosted glass vases with tiny nosegays
Each vase had a completely different and unique combination of fresh vintage shaded flowers

The flower palette included Scabiosa seed heads, Metalina Roses, Oregano, Sweet Peas, Scabious, Astrantia, Black Dill, Champagne Grass, Alchemilla Mollis, Poppy Seed Heads, Pepper Mint, Picasso Calla Lilies, Rosemary and Lavender

The Bridesmaid's were all wearing herbs and flowers in their hair
The little Page Boy had a miniature Boutonniere in his lapel
The Bride's Mum had a delicate Wrist corsage created to compliment her lovely summer frock

The Vintage Bridesmaid's Bouquets included Pale green Hydrangea, Scabiosa seed Heads, Black Dill, Metalina, Old Dutch, Faith and Akito Roses, Champagne Grass and Umbrella Fern

The girls looked so beautiful in their ivory gowns
The Bride Laura arrived in a Clouds Car looking completely heavenly

Laura's fabulous cascade wedding bouquet included some exquisite flowers in soft vintage shades, I included Fresh fragrant Lily of the Valley, Stephanotis, Picasso Calla Lilies, Metalina, Old Dutch & Akito Rosesm Black Dill, Oregano, Astrantia and lots of lovely foliages and herbs

This whole wedding looked so delicate and romantic, the colour choices Laura made were crucial to the end result, huge congratulations to Laura and Wayne and many thanks to them for choosing Flower Design to create their weding flowers
The viewAs we went back down the hill I couldn't resist a couple of last images of Ashton Memorial
