Tessa & Alan's Fabulous Deep Purple Wedding Day at St Cuthbert's & The Grand, St Annes

I've been looking forward to this wedding since the day I first met Tessa & Alan yonks ago, they are both fabulous and we wish them every happinessTessa was getting ready in one of the turret bedrooms at The Grand when we arrived with her wedding bouquets and Mum's corsages and Dad's boutonniere's

Tessa's wedding bouquet included "From Me to You" Hydrangeas, Ocean Song Roses, Calla Lilies, Eryngium and a selection of autumnal berries and leaves.
There was lots of laughter all day! and lots of tie tieing!

Then we transferred our attention to one of my all time favourite churches St Cuthberts in Lytham Where we'd dressed the Lytch Gate
The Ushers Boutonnieres of Black Calla Lily & Silver Eryngium

The Grooms special Boutonniere complete with Autumn QuercusInside this magnificent Church we'd arranged two huge candelit pedestals of Brassica, Hydrangeas, Gladioli, Brassica and Roses

The Groom's gorgeous parents

Pew Ends nosegays of Delphinium, Brassica, Lissianthus, Eryngium and Roses were on each alternate pewThe Best man (left) and the uber handsome Groom Alan (right)

The official photographers were our old friends Michael & Caroline Challinor I loved this deep purple handbag corsage

They rolled out the red carpet, Gorgeous!!!!!
The beautiful Bridesmaids and fabulous Brides Mum arrived

The Bridesmaids bouquets complimented the deep purple gowns perfectly

Tessa looked truly exquisite as she almost floated up the path

Jason took the pedestals out through the back door for us to transport them to The GrandThe trees are really turning golden and red

The table designs were a combination of high and low designs
Low Hand ties in lovely crisp clear LSA column vases
And tall spheres on glass column style candlesticks
We included Brassicas, Orchids, David Austin's Patience & Ocean Song Roses and lots and lots of Autumnal Berries, Sedums and foliages

The Grand as always looked majestic

Traditional top table design, backed by Creative Cover Hire's Fairy Lit Screen
I love these cake toppers the likeness is amazing!

This was a wonderful day for Tessa and Alan and we'd like to thank them for choosing Flower Design to create their wedding flowers

A lovely wedding. Though I don't wanna marry, pictures like these make me wish it's my wedding :)

This isn't a wedding; it's a potlatch!

P.S. Does the groom's "Autumn Quercus" look a bit rude or is it just me? (I always thought a quercus was an oak tree.)

Meanwhile, I never had such a clever niece! Love to all, Uncle Mike
