Su & Andy Miller 8th November 2008

Su and Andy miller, This is our first delivery of the day on Saturday, to Su our lovely bride for the day, I always show brides how best to carry their bouquet for maximum pleasure and effect.
Sue & Paul and their team at Ribby Hall were brilliant as usual; the ceremony room was set out really well and looked majestic with red carpet, candle lit arrangements and chairs dressed by Creative Cover Hire. Incidentally the change around after the ceremony is always done seamlessly at Ribby the C&B team are super efficient.

The Groom Andy had a boutonierre of White & Gold Phalaenopsis Orchid and his Groom’s Men all had Black Baccara Rose Boutonnières.

Su’s witness Jane had a fabulously colourful gown and we managed to tone perfectly with her colour choice, Rosemary created a Wrist corsage on a diamante bracelet with Orchids, Germini petals and rolled roses.

Su’s Mum Janet had a gorgeous epaulette corsage of miniature white Phalaenopsis orchids to harmonize with both her outfit and Su’s bouquet.

The wonderful award winning Photographer Christopher (Chris to his friends) Astbury was their photographer for the day, thank goodness for Chris’s “Girl Friday” Gail she did the most magnificent job of managing and organising all the group photos, she really is quite brilliant at getting the right people in the right places at the right time and she seriously had her work cut out with these lovely people.

This is Joseph, Joseph and I are old friends and he is a professional ring bearer having done a very proficient job for his parents Nichola and Jonathon last year he was booked almost immediately for this lovely wedding day, again he didn’t disappoint and conducted his task with total professionalism.

The Bridesmaids Ashleigh and Leigh and Shannon looked beautiful and managed the bridal gown perfectly.

The bouquet was created for Su in a “Flower Design” hand tied style it was made to be very light and delicate so that it didn’t strain Su’s recently broken arm. We included Black Baccara & Tamango Roses; White with burgundy throats Cymbidium Orchids and a lovely trail of White and gold Phalaenopsis Orchids, the bridal bouquet included a selection of wintery berries, hydrangeas and foliages. The wedding bouquet was finished with diamante studs in some of the roses and an ivory tulle handle with a pale gold bow to co-ordinate with the pale gold gown from Dream Catcher in Kirkham.

The registrars for the day were Carol & Harriet, they performed their part with absolute reverence.

Ashleigh sang during the ceremony which made the service all the more special.

Many, Many Congratulations to both of you, you both looked fabulous!

We designed the seating plan for Su & Andy and named the tables after wintery goodies.

The table designs were a combination of high and low designs with winter trees with cascading orchids on some and low “Living Sculptures” on the others, the effect was quite magical and romanticised the simple décor.

The cake was decorated with fresh flowers.
