Exquisite White Christmas Wedding at Hoghton Tower for Pamela & Robert

Pamela & Robert's style was understated, elegant and natural, I wanted to create a spontaneous, romantic and relaxed vibe to the designs...
~
Oh wow this really is a flower lovers dream wedding; a true celebration of all that is glorious about this magical season in a crisp and snowy white palette, fresh Christmas Roses with Mistletoe, Anemones, Ranunculas, Astrantia, Lily of the Valley, Avalanche Roses with a splendid collection of winter Evergreens, Grasses, Branches and seed heads in this wonderful Winter Wedding bouquet.

We bound the semi naked handle with Satin Ribbon and Lace then tied it up with cotton "To have and to hold..." motif Ribbon to reflect the textures and characters of the blooms and berries in the bouquet

The Bride Groom's Boutonniere of an Avalanche Rose with Mistletoe, Eucalyptus Boules, Christmas Rose and Astrantia

The Boutonnieres for all of the guests were entirely unique created from small clusters of the flowers used in the Bridal Bouquet

A perfectly exquisite Christmas Rose (Hellebore) Boutonniere

A Collection of Winter Boutonnieres

Our beautiful Bride Pamela takes protective custody of her precious Bridal Bouquet from the sumptuous tissue paper nest we'd created for it

The Ceremony was to be held within the historic and atmospheric walls of one of the most magical venues the fabulous Hoghton Tower
Inside this breathtaking space we'd dressed surfaces in the simplest way possible, with bottles and vases containing single stems of Hellebores, Christmas Roses in small clusters

I adore the simplicity and absolute perfection of a Christmas Rose
In The Smoking Room tables were also dressed with simple vases of Christmas Roses and tea light votives

Robert, Pamela's super handsome Bride Groom complete with his rather special Christmas Boutonniere
The Bride Groom's rather special Avalanche & Christmas Rose Boutonniere
On the door leading to The Great Hall a magnificent Door Wreath of Roses, Mistletoe, Hellebores, Hyacinths, Ranunculas, Holly and Thistles amid a Wreath of Winter Evergreens
On either side of the majestic fireplace two of our huge floor standing Jacobean Candelabras
The aisle was lined with Candlelit Hurricane Lamps and White Roses Petals
Both Registrars tables were dressed with Rose Petals, candlelit votives and posies of fresh winter blooms

On the historic table where the beef was "Knighted" to become "Sir Loin" we'd placed a random collection of bottles, jars and vessels all filled with individually created posies of fresh flowers

I loved the lace on this otherwise Rustic Winter Door Wreath

The Mum's were presented with lovely Corsages of Phalaenopsis Orchids and Rolled Rose Petals

Our Beautiful and Breathtaking Bride with her super proud Dad

Rowley's Catering delicious Canapes with the lovely Rebecca
