A Profusion of Summer Flowers For Samlesbury Hall's Fabulous Taster Evening

Future Brides and Groom's spilled out of the doors on Wednesday evening for Samlesbury Hall's famous Wedding Taster evening, this magnificent historic building was dressed to impress and whett the apetites of these newly engaged couples...

Inside the spectacularly atmospheric Great Hall a glorious array of fresh flowers dressed the tables exquisitely

 One of our stunning large "Baroque" Candelabras dressed with a profusion of Peonies, Stocks, Hydrangeas and Roses with Palms and ivy trails

Our Medium Sized 'Regency" Candelabra with a tall elegant design of Fragrant Stocks, Memory Lane Roses,  Lavender Sweet Peas, Eryngium and Wax Flower Blossom

Our Huge Crystal Candlestick topped with a plethora of Pink Phalaenopsis Orchids with Hydrangeas, Roses and Stocks

A lovely candle lit Birdcage design surrounded by coral Sweet peas, Hydrangeas, David Austin's English Garden Rose Juliet and Floribunda Rose Blanchette

Our magical Enchanted Tree with a myriad of uses, it works as a "Pedestal Design" for during your ceremony and a "Seating Plan" before the banquet with your table plan cards hanging from the branches and then in the evening it can also be used as a "Wishing Tree" for your guests to hang their good wishes on

One of our Floor Standing Candelabras a beautiful design perfect for framing the ceremony in Church or in a civil Ceremony and then afterwards at either end of the Top Table

Our Crystal Top Table design, fresh flowers arranged in a random selection of vintage crystal vessels, vases and dessert dishes with crystal candlesticks in between and amongst, the designs are all placed on lace doilies which completes the vintage vibe

At the base of our Crystal candlestick design a collection of vases with posies of fresh flowers ensures that there's something glorious for the guests to look at on the table top

The fabulous Maxine Molin Rose was in attendance and playing her beautiful Harp for everyones pleasure and enjoyment

Our stunning Silver Fruit Bowl topped with a "Bosomy" design of Roses, Astrantia, Stachys, Hydrangeas, Lissianthus and Sweet Peas, this design is the perfect low partner for either of our silver Candelabras

Our "Tudor Rose" Two Tier Candelabra is a design specifically designed and created for Weddings at Samlesbury Hall

Beautiful Cakes from my favourite Patisserie Chef Joe Hargeaves from Specialised Cakes who along with his fabulously talented wife Janine create some of the most exquisite cakes we ever see

The central "Trifle Bowl" Design of the Crystal Top Table, Roses, Stocks,  Sweet peas and Peonies tumble over the edges in a creation that looks almost good enough to eat

Adam & Robin from Dance Floor Couture also provide MC services and amazing DJ's

Angela from Samlesbury Hall had a queue of folks all evening waiting to speak with her about their plans for the perfect wedding day, Angela really is the most fabulous banqueting manager

In the kitchens work was under way for the tasting, I wish I'd had time to stay and taste some but wedding appointments wait for no-one and I had to hot foot it back to FD HQ to meet a lovely couple planning a wedding for next Summer!!

We are really looking forward to welcoming many of the Brides & Groom's we met on Wednesday for their first Flower Design Events appointments over the next few weeks!!!
