The Quintessentially English Wedding Day of Samantha & Gavin at The Great Hall at Mains

This was such a heavenly wedding day and we have loved every moment of the planning with the lovely Samantha & Gavin, they had such a fabulous team on board for this very Classic English wedding day with the brilliant Steve & Stephanie Ashton from Ashton Photography and of course the sublime team from Twelve Event Management and the great folks from The Great Hall at Mains with the wonderful harpist Maxine Molin Rose and all of the fabrics, drapes and chair covers provided by Creative Cover Hire
Our beautiful Bride was getting ready at the family home in Euxton so Jason & Josie were lucky enough to get the honour of presenting our Bride with her bouquet on their way to their wedding in Stretford, it really is my favourite bit of the day so was only a little bit miffed to miss out but geography and logistics have their part to play.
Samantha's beautiful bouquet included a plethora of Spring loveliness with the first of the seasons fresh lily of the Valley, scented Sweet peas, Peonies, Blossom, Roses, Eryngium and Delphinium florets in gentle shades of pinks, creams, ivories and blues
Jason did the all important Flower Design Bouquet carrying lesson

He introduced Samantha to all of the flower varieties in her bouquet

Over at  the fabulous The Great Hall at Mains
One of our Floral Hearts was hanging from the front door and greeted guests as they arrived

On the end of the bar we'd placed a cluster of  of vases filled with fresh flowers

Posies of gorgeous blooms dressed all of the bar tables

The occasional tables were also decorated with posies of fresh flowers

In the ceremony area, two of our Baroque Candelabras on Pedestals stood at the foot of the aisle with fresh Rose Petals scattered along the length of the aisle
The fresh fragrant Rose Petals surrounded the floating candles
Two more Baroque Candelabras framed the fireplace and ceremony area

On the Registrars table posies of fresh flowers were arranged between floating candles
Snowflake Rose Buds

Mentha Roses
White Lilac

Blue Delphinium florets on a low cake plinth
White Peonies

Ruby lined up the Boutonnieres ready to pin them on the guests, the Bride Groom's rather special boutonniere included a Miranda Rose with rolled petals, Blossom, Thalaspi, Senecio and Hydrangea
An Amnesia Rose with Sweet Peas, Eryngium and Wax Flower blossom

Samantha's handsome Bride Groom Gavin was first to have his boutonniere pinned in place

The very lovely and super talented Maxine Molin Rose was performing on her harp

Our beautiful Bride the lovely Samantha looked stunning when she arrived on the arm of her super proud Dad

Huge & Ginormous Congratulations to Samantha & Gavin from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

The naked wedding cake was dressed with a floral cake topper with corsages on the lower tiers

The seating plan was enhanced by our Floral Heart
Whilst the guests enjoyed celebratory drinks a transformation was taking place in the Great Hall, now dressed for a magnificent banquet
Our Baroque Candelabras were draped with strings of pearls and a collection of English garden flowers
Our Crystal cake stands topped with Peonies, Roses, Sweet Peas and Hydrangeas

The Top Table was so beautiful; miniature silver baroque candelabras and miniature crystal cake stands were used to reflect the other table designs were all set on a series of mirrors together with a collection of posies in glass column vases and floating candles

Our work here was done huge thanks to Samantha and Gavin for choosing Flower Design to create their wedding flowers for them
