A Rustic Christmas Wedding at The Inn at Whitewell
I loved the flowers at this wonderful wedding, Sarah's & Brendon's flowers really were the epitome of a rustic Christmas, marrying the scenery with the festive season.
The Inn at Whitewell is set in the most idyllic countryside, with well stocked hedgerows stretching for miles and luscious forestry, we really wanted to be sympathetic to this glorious landscape whilst creating a warm, cosy, romantic atmosphere for this very special wedding day.

Jason tracked down our beautiful Bride Sarah with her Bridesmaids in one of the stunning bedrooms at The Inn at Whitewell, the all important FD Events wedding bouquet holding lesson ensued and as ever he managed to achieve their undivided attention (I just don't know how he does it!!)
I included some truly sensational rustic ingredients to this Christmas Wedding Bouquet it smelled absolutely delicious
The Bridesmaid's Bouquets were smaller versions of the Bridal Bouquet
The Bride's Mum looked fabulous in her deep purple ensemble her epaulette corsage was the perfect addition to her sophisticated look
The Bride's Mum's epaulette corsage in shades of purple and white, we included purple classic Hydrangeas, white miniature Phalaenopsis Orchids, Wax Flower Blossom, fragrant Rosemary and seasonal variegated Ivy leaves
The ceremony was to be held at St Michael's the lovely little Church right next door to The Inn at Whitewell, the Lytch Gate was dressed with a bundle of fresh Mistletoe and illuminated with our filigree lanterns, a lovely welcome for Sarah & Brendon's guests!
Outside the front door of St Michael's at Whitewell we created a lovely tableau with our filigree table and chairs, lanterns and fresh flowers.
I love these little Christmas posies in gorgeous decorated vases
A Basket of crab apples, cranberries and pomegranites
In the porch area leading to the Church we arranged lanterns, Rose petals and posies
The fragrances were fabulous, Cinnamon, Orange slices, Roses and spruces
Eucalyptus pods, Roses, Myrtle, Heather, Rosemary, Holly Berries and spruces are combined in this Clementine decorated vase
The scenery surrounding the Inn at Whitewell is breathtaking
Brendon, Sarah's uber handsome Bride Groom was first to arrive and have his very special boutonniere pinned on
Brendon's Christmas Boutonniere of Myrtle, Skimmia, Heather, Ivy, Rosemary, Eucalyptus globes and an Avalanche Rose
The very special gentlemen at the wedding were presented with beautiful Black Baccarra Rose Boutonnieres
The seriously beautiful Sarah and her lovely Bridesmaid's walk to Church
The fabulous photographer for the day was the wonderful Stuart Ainslie
Sarah's beautiful Christmas wedding bouquet, I included Roses, Fir Cones, Thistles, Christmas Roses, Fresh Lily of the Valley, Eucalyptus Globes, Skimmia, Bouvardia, Ivy, Rosemary, Holly Berries and lots more seasonal loveliness besides
The little Flower Girls carried baskets of Rose Petals
I loved the how the colours and shades of the Bridesmaids Bouquets toned so vibrantly with their burgundy and black gowns
Huge congratulations to Sarah & Brendon from all of the team here at Flower Design Events
The celebrations moved next door to the very special venue The Inn at Whitewell, where The Orangery had been dressed to impress with magnififcent fresh flowers and candelabras
The guests were all seated at one very sumptuous table
Candelabras dressed with garlands of fresh flowers and foliages these were placed down the centre of the table
In between the candelabras intricately decorated festive vases of fresh flowers were placed among fairy lights to create a really romantic Christmas dining table
Huge mounds of fragrant Cinnamon, Preserved Clementines, delicious Cranberries, Crab Apples and Pomegranites were at the base of each of the candelabras
As the light dimmed outside the atmosphere around the table became more magical, the candles reflected in the windows and the fairy lights glowed
Each of the guests were given home made chutneys and jams at their place setting
The Inn at Whitewell is such a special venue with bags of character and atmosphere
Huge thanks to Sarah & Brendon for choosing Flower Design Events to create the flowers for their wonderful Christmas Wedding Day
