Mr Jackson's 70th Birthday Party at The White Tower Restaurant, New Years Eve 2008
As you stepped out of the lift into the White Tower Restaurant you were greeted by fresh flowers and candles. The perfect welcome to Mr Jackson's 70th Birthday Party (I have been told on lots of occasions to call him Lawrence but I am unable to do so, he and Mrs Jackson command massive respect which simply makes it impossible for me to be anything less than uber respectful!) he also doesn't look or act like any 70 year old I've ever met he has so much energy, charm and vitality, in fact he is an all round lovely man.
Dear Mr Jackson we sincerely hope you had a wonderful 70th Birthday celebration, Happy Birthday!
The Grand Piano was dressed with Ostrich Feathers, diamante droplets and tea light candles.
Jules had created works of art to depict a "Show Girl" theme, each table had a different beauty adorned with feathers and jewells, this one on The Grand Piano had Mr Jacksons age picked out in diamonds (at least one carat each).
Michael Spencer head of all things catering, banqueting, conference and corporate at The Pleasure Beach was on hand to ensure smooth set up and running of this prestigous event. Shannon said that the team on the evening managed by Mel were absolutely faultless, attentive and absolutely spot on!
The Candelabra on the bar was dressed with Euphorbia Fulgens, Ladies Slipper Orchids, White Tulips and Roses.
The White Tower is a superb space over looking the promenade, the decor is Art Deco and has a sumptuous, luxurious feel, the flowers we created were in keeping with the atmosphere, Green Goddess Calla Lilies and Ivory arums are the epitomy of Art Deco Chic and fitted the bill perfectly.
The "Cabaret" style table boasted fresh white Nerines, Gerberas and Paphiopedilum Orchids.
The Show Girls were perfumed by beautiful Spring Paper Whites
We made the slightly flambouyant Mr Jackson a Buttonhole of a Ladies Slipper Orchid and we hope he wore it with flare.
Shannon Jackson, The evening themes, table favours and dressing were entirely her brainchild and were an absolute success.
Dear Mr Jackson we sincerely hope you had a wonderful 70th Birthday celebration, Happy Birthday!
