The Epic & Classically Elegant Wedding Day of Harriet & Danny at Mitton Hall

We had such a fabulous day yesterday at Harriet & Danny's Wedding, we have had the huge pleasure of knowing Harriet and all of her family for many, many years, her little sister Emily worked with us at Flower Design for a good few years whilst she was still at school, her completely legendary Mum Karen came to our Flower Club, supported us at Chelsea Flower Show and along with Dad Glenn have been customers for more years than any of us care to remember.
I felt the responsibility of creating flowers for this super special family was a massive honour, I was moved to tears when I presented their sample designs, so this was always going to be an emotional day that I wouldn't have missed for the world...
~
Harriet & Karen are super organised, seriously practical and totally on it! conversely Danny is relaxed and very arty so our planning meetings were always well balanced and I had a clear brief to work too, their mood board was fabulous and helped to inspire our designs...

Yesterday Jason and I arrived at the family home in St Annes dressed for the wedding with one of our floral hearts on the front door, the perfect start to a perfect day, no apologies for the ridiculously large number of images here....

In the dining the room the scene was set with the team from Flossy & Leigh looking after everyone's hair and make up
I handed over the wedding Bouquets to our beautiful Bride and her Bridesmaids
We showed everyone how to carry their Bridal Bouquets perfectly

We had such a lovely day working alongside Nick English, can't wait to see his images I know they are going to be very special
Jason & I headed to Mitton Hall where the heavens had opened showering the day with blessings
The front door was framed again by two of our luscious Floral Hearts
Ruby had filled them with such a luscious combination of materials; Roses, Peonies, Scabious, Astrantia, Hydrangeas, Dahlias, Broom, Sweet Peas and Stocks
Just inside the porch posies of fresh sweet scented flowers greeted guests as they arrived

Jason lined up the boutonnieres ready to pin them on
Danny's Boutonniere featured fresh Lily of the Valley, Rolled David Austin Roses 'Darcey', Ranunculus, Scabious, Astrantia, Sweet Peas, Lime Green Alchemilla Mollis,, Forget Me Nots and Champagne Grass
All of the Boutonnieres were beautiful and unique

Kerry looked fabulous and her wrist corsage complimented her outfit perfectly

Inside Mitton Hall we'd dressed the foot of the aisle with two of our Baroque Candelabras on pedestal stands, the aisle was lined with our Brampton Lanterns filled with fresh Rose Petals

The Registrars table was dressed with a traditional candlelit design and framed by two candelabras
Michael was running the day for Mitton Hall and as always did a really great job, we pinned on a Boutonniere to his lapel and very smart he looked too.

Our silver bowls were filled with a glorious abundance of fresh flowers and decorated the side tables around the room

The team from Creative Cover Hire had dressed the chairs with lace hoods fastened with pearl brooches
