Silvery Greys and Pale Greens for Sarah & Ian's 'Walk in the Woods' Inspired Wedding Day at St Lawrence's Church Longridge & Mitton Hall

This was such a stylish wedding, we all loved Sarah's gorgeous 'Mood Board' green and grey were the colours of choice, Proteas & Succulents were our signature flowers and a relaxed                                                                      'outdoorsy' styling prevailed.
Sarah has been a seriously cool and chilled Bride to look after, she allowed us, a free hand, space         and budget to get creative, thankfully when Sarah & her Mum came in to our Studio to view our                           sample designs, they loved what they saw and the rest as they say is history

Besides the obvious loveliness of our gorgeous Bride there was a fabulous team of fellow professionals working on this beautiful Wedding Day, I was, I don't mind admitting a little star struck to be working with the legendary Lesley Meredith

If that wasn't enough we also had the great pleasure of working with Flossy & Leigh for the third time in a week
Berto, Rebecca & I headed off to St Lawrence's Church in Logridge for the ceremony
We dressed the Lytch Gate with 'Swags" of fresh Orchids and Proteas and three candlelit lanterns

Lanterns on hooks lined the path way leading from the gate to the Church

Inside this lovely Church we dressed each alternate Pew End with posies of Gypsophilia
We lined up the Boutonnieres and Corsages just outside Church ready to pin them on to the all important guests as they arrived...
Our Bride Groom's rather special Boutonniere featured individually wired Protea Petals, Crystal Blush Calla Lily, Senecio, Succulents, Snowberry, Eryngium and Hydrangea Florets and Rosemary
Senecio and Gypsophilia Boutonnieres for the Groom's Men

Our Brides very proud parents
The Groom's equally proud parents and the most adorable page boys

The Bridesmaids arrived in style in fabulous Malvern Cars

The Bridesmaids were wearing silver grey gowns and we'd created Bridesmaid's Bouquets of Proteas, Orchids, Calla Lilies, Gypsophilia and Snowberry
We'd also created fresh flowers for the Bridesmaids Hair

The Little Flower Girls looked adorable and carried Bouquets of Albiflora, Calla Lilies, Eucalyptus and Gypsophilia Par Excellence

It's always a huge pleasure to see our FD Events Brides and Grooms at weddings here's a link to Chris & Joanne's gorgeous and colourful wedding earlier this year
The celebrations moved on to the spectacular surroundings of Mitton Hall the venue for the wedding breakfast and reception

Vases of fresh flowers dressed the low bar tables at the entrance to the party room
The shaded naked cake looked and smelled delicious we dressed the cake with garlands of fresh flowers, foliages and Thistles
Each table was decorated with a unique table design created using our cast iron verdi gris vessels, a collection of bottles, jars and wood slices filled and decorated with Succulents, Mosses, Proteas, Poppy seed heads, Thistles, Calla Lilies and Senecio
Seed trays were stacked, bark and chunks of wood were randomly arranged alongside tea light votives and a variety of vessels filled with signature blooms and Succulents
Along the Top Table a version of our 'Walk in the Woods' design juxtaposed with an elegantly dressed table
Posies of fresh flowers amongst mosses, slices of wood and Bark dressed the top table beautifully

Textured designs sat on hessian looked wonderful
Our Verdi Gris Candelabra was swathed with a garland of fresh Orchids, Proteas, Amaranthus, Snowberry and Calla Lily

Our Cast Iron Verdi Gris Bird Bath topped with clustered candles surrounded by Orchids Succulents and Gypsophilia
