The Exquisitely Elegant Soft Green & Ivory Wedding Day of Rebecca & Matthew At The Swan Newby Bridge

This is a glorious tale of desire and deliverance, we start this beautifully floral wedding day story at the point of deliverance;
Our gorgeous Bride the lovely Rebecca had expressed her heart felt desire for White Peonies from the beginning of her floral fantasies, the difficulty of course was the timing of this great August day, as we all know the Peony season ends in mid July and white Peonies are all "Loved Out" a few weeks earlier than that.
I made no promises but I wasn't to be beaten; I sent out a number of emails, I dispatched Flower Fairies to the ends of Christendom, I left messages on many florist forums, I phoned people who know people in very high flower places who may make my Brides dreams come true, my lovely Intern (a fully fledged Flower Fairy herself) got word from a friend of a friend to say that she may have some beauties if we could cover the transport costs from Poland. I dared not breathe a word until I had seen them with my own eyes, they arrived at FD HQ at 4pm the day before, we worked through the night to complete the Bridal Flowers and what a joy it was!!!
~
Our fabulous Bride was in mid hairdressing mode when Jason made his very important delivery and the Peonies were un-veiled for the first time, total ebullience ensued much to our delight!!!

The Bridesmaids enjoyed the Bridal Bouquet carrying lesson

The ceremony was to be held in The Club Room at The Swan at Newby Bridge, an enormous picture window dominates the room, the Bride & Groom would be getting married looking out over the beautiful view over this famous bridge
We'd dressed the window with dramatic garlands of gypsophilia
The Registrars table design was a luscious collection of White Peonies, Roses, Stocks and Hydrangeas

A Swag of gypsophilia graced the fireplace too

The very handsome Father's of the Bride & Groom were first to have their "Green Tea" Roses pinned on

Matthew our seriously gorgeous Groom was of course next, he had a sweet scented English Garden Rose "Patience" and a sprig of Eucalyptus
All of the very special guests were presented with their Boutonnieres and corsages

The fabulous Quintet were striking up, inviting the guests to take their seats

The Bridesmaids Bouquets were a smaller version of our Brides glorious bouquet they were made up of a collection Ivory and pale green blooms to tone with their soft green gowns, I included White Peonies, Sweet Peas, Freesia,  Green Tea Roses, Viburnum Opulus, Echiveras, Dill, English Garden Rose Patience and Eucalyptus

Our beautiful Bride Rebecca looked utterly breathtaking...

Massive Congratulations to Rebecca & Matthew from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

The stunning Wedding Bouquet dominated of course by the super precious Peonies, Albiflora, Echivera, Freesia, Sweet Peas, Viburnum Opulus and David Austin's English Garden Rose Patience together with a collection of fresh fragrant Herbs and grasses

Fresh Rose Petal Confetti, there's just nothing in the world like it, fragrant, soft, cool and seriously opulent, need I say more!!!

Joan the truly beautiful Brides Mum one of the most glamorous ladies I know!!!

In the meantime the "Change Around" was taking place back in the "Club Room"

Crystal Candelabras and crystal cake stands filled to overflowing with White Delphinius, White Peonies, Green Tea Roses, Hydrangeas, Nerines, Astilbe, Dill, Freesia, Stocks, Wax Flower Blossom, Viburnum Opulus and fragrant Tuberosa dressed the dining tables elegantly and beautifully, there was rhythm in the dining room.
