Jess & Nick's Stunning "Nude" Shaded Wedding Day at The Great Hall at Mains

This was a wedding that was very close to my heart, I have created flowers for Nick's family for many years so it was a great pleasure and honour to be asked to create wedding flowers for such an important day.
Jess & Nick live in Dubai so again we enjoyed a long distance relationship with a few very well timed appointments that allowed us an opportunity to dot the i's and cross the t's. The colour scheme was so subtle, a "Nearly Nude" shade that bordered on the palest pink and the palest apricot possible, the varieties of Peonies and Roses were critical to the overall colour balance, I was so delighted with the flowers when they arrived from Holland they were simply perfect!
The very beautiful Bride Jess was getting ready at Mains Hall, the bedrooms are sublime just right for a Bride and her Bridesmaids to get ready in

The Bridal Bouquet included David Austin's English Garden Rose Keira, Quick Sand, Faith & Sweet Avalanche Roses, together with the palest shell pink Peony, fragrant Lily of the Valley, Viburnum Opulus, Thalaspi and Champagne Grass
My great friend Sonara Parker MUA was busy with the two fabulous Mum's doing their make up beautifully

Meanwhile back at The Great Hall at Mains our super handsome Bride Groom Nick was ready for the main event
Nick's rather special Boutonniere was designed to compliment his Bride's Bouquet we included a Quick Sand Rose a sprig of fresh Rosemary, rolled Sweet Avalanche Rose Petals, fresh Lily of the Valley and some Wax Flower Blossom
The Bride's Father was wearing a Sweet Avalanche Rose with Wax Flower Blossom in his buttonhole

The very special Grandparents were presented with Akito Rose Boutonnieres

The Great Hall at Mains looked utterly magnificent with our fabulous candelabras framing the ceremony space
The Candelabras were dressed with fragrant Sweet Peas, Dendrobium Orchids, Hydrangeas, Roses and Pieris Blossom

The Registrars table design was in a traditional style dominated by two chunky pillar candles
We included lots of lovely Roses, Peonies, Sweet Peas, Orchids and Hydrangeas
A smaller design looked perfect on the second Registrars table

Sweet Avalanche Rose
The completely gorgeous Brides Mum wearing an elegant corsage of White Phalaenopsis Orchids

The stunning Groom's Mum wearing a beautiful corsage of fresh Rosemary, Wax Flower Blossom and Orchids

The angelic Flower Girl carried a delicate posy of fresh Sweet Peas, Lily of the Valley, Bombastic Roses and White Peonies

The Bouquets looked so perfect with the Bridesmaids nude gown

The Bridesmaids were wearing fresh Bombastic Roses in their hair

Massive Congratulations to Nick & Jess from all of the team at Flower Design Events

The very lovely management team at TGHM Roger, Chriss and Adele

The polaroid camera and accompanying guest book was a fabulous idea

After the ceremony the hall was transformed into a magnificent banqueting suite with all of the tables dressed with decadent candelabras
The cake was dressed with a miniature version of the Bridal Bouquet

Spectacular Candelabra table designs
The top table was dressed with three fabulous designs each with candles and trailing over the front of the table

Top table design in three placements

The jars of Blackpool Rock with Nick and Jess's names through the rock was a perfect table favour

Massive thanks to Nick & Jess for allowing us to create their wedding flowers!!!
