Snow Queen Bridal Bouquets at Gibbon Bridge, Perfect Images from Jonny Draper Photography, Exquisite Gowns from Dreamcatcher Bridal

Some very special images from the brilliant Jonny Draper Photography, what I love about Jonny is that he really takes time pre-wedding, to get to know his Brides and Grooms, not just the obvious stuff of which is their best side etc but moreover what they're about, what their wedding day is all about, what their themes are, what part of their day they are most looking forward to.
You see Jonny understands that if you're wearing an exquisite piece of Vintage jewellery a family heirloom in fact, or if someone very special has travelled around the world to be at your wedding it needs capturing, and this is the bit that really interests me, if you were going for a "Vintage Romance" themed wedding or a "Summer Fete" wedding and lets face it the possibilities are endless, the photography needs to be in that style too, if you two are playful then that's what you'll want to see or if your intimate and quiet, or just completely out there, this is where Jonny really comes into his own, here's some stupendous shots from a shoot a few weeks ago enjoy....

The shoot was hosted by Gibbon Bridge this is a truly magical venue, set in the heart of the Trough of Bowland, serving locally produced expertly prepared food served by a knowledgable and welcoming team, it's a favourite with celebrities too so you never know who you might bump into!!!
The Bandstand is so iconic and these images prove it looks fantastic in the winter (There's a fabulous Orangery available too should the weather be inclement)
We dressed the space with two column shaped designs of White Oriental Lilies, September Flower and fresh Fragrant Eucalyptus.
The spectacular gowns were provided by my very dear friends Jill & Georgina from Dreamcatcher Bridal in Kirkham, they carry stock of some of the very finest designers including Suzanne Neville, Sassi Holford and Benjamin Roberts, their gowns always fit superbly too which is just so important!

Love this shot!!
The spring Bulb inspired bridal bouquets, the designs were created to compliment the gardens and setting of Gibbon Bridge, the great outdoors is a massive part of a wedding in this neck of the woods so I wanted these bouquets to be representative of the season and the setting.
So in this one we've used lots of sprouting willow, white Muscari, Bridal Crown Narcissus and white Freesia.

Olivia's wedding bouquet is much more colourful with a collection of spring flowers including Tete a Tete, Tulips, Muscari and Freesia surrounding a cluster of miniature White Fragrant Cyclamen, Gaggle Twigs and willow break the edges, giving the bouquet that feeling of new beginnings, striving and growth

Emily's "Snow Queen" Bouquet is long and trailing a collection of Pussy Willow, Jasmine & Stephanotis in the length of the bouquet and clustered in the heart lots of lovely white Lilac and Ranunculas.

A very simple bouquet of bundled Paper Whites, so fresh and innocent
Olivia photographed in the Orangery as it would be set up for a civil ceremony
